How did they get to that river, first the river is inside Bush you would have to walk distance into the Bush to get there. Secondly that place is a zone for weed smokers if you want to have fun swimming that place is not a place to go if you don't belong. Then a chemistry student with two months left tot it wise to leave town head into Bush to swim? Somethings are not very clear here

Who still goes to the river to swim? Most Naija rivers are death traps. I stopped visiting rivers during my secondary school days after a piece of what I didn't know entered into my right eye and stayed for days. That experience was terrible.

If you want to swim, go to swimming pools during the day. Most indigenous rivers are sacrifice spots. This explains why most churches don't carry out water baptism anymore at rivers. They jejely use pools. Be wise o, make you nor join scores.

I remember our time in school and going to swim in this same river with my elder sister. We always went in the company of indigenes and only tried to swim in the shallow parts. It seemed fun at the time as we would cook with fire wood by the river side, play with a football in the river and get some swimming lessons from them but in retrospect... mehn, that was some serious risk we took.
