Seems ups already picked it for delivery, chat vfs and ask for your tracking number. Once you’ve that, track it on ups website.

Please do you know how long the advance gcms notes will take for them to send to me?

Most hotels, either in Canada or elsewhere, will allow you to pay during check-in, which is okay, but what you really need to look at is the cancellation policy because they will charge your card even if you don't show up at the end of the day.

For no-call, no-show, some hotels will charge you for the first night, but some will charge for the entire duration.

Read the cancellation policy before you book any hotel. Let's say the hotel allows you to pay at the property, and your check-in time is 2 p.m. on July 7. The cancellation policy might want you to cancel a day or two before that check-in date of July 7 for you not to be charged.

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it.

Ashirioluwa:

Yes, but this is not as easy as it's written on the internet. It's like passing through the eye of a needle.

Getting a job offer or a positive LMIA is an extremely difficult process. The chances of getting a job offer from a Canadian employer are very slim because an employer has to fulfill the LMIA requirement to hire you, and the truth is that not many employers are willing to sponsor temporary visitors.

There are some LMIA-exempt jobs, but getting an employer to make a job offer is damn hard because so many applicants are fighting to get the few positions that are available.

But it might be a bit easier for those with exceptional skills and those who have enough contacts in Canada to support them during this difficult period.

It is possible, but not as easy as people are talking about it in Nigeria.

This is just my personal opinion; I am not here to discourage anyone. This is just a heads-up to know what you are going to face when you get in.

Thank you for your response, how do I apply with a status pls, do you mean I will apply for the visit alongside PR?

Ruskov:

Even though most peeps say it's possible , I'm also one of them that say so, because of the laws put out by Canadian government ( you would not completely outrule it) it takes time to convert visit visas to work visas. However you can apply (it's encouraged) but it is best you apply with a status (PR, WP etc)

On the area of you staying 3 years straight , you go and come after 6 months.

Most times, PR is the best bet. Most companies do not want to wait on Queue for people to have an LMIA (by the company) , then issue work permit documentation , and then start doing what have you, No they do not want that.
If you have a way to apply for visit visas , and at the second backup file in for Permanent residence thru a Pilot program or something, I think its best you do so.

It's on 1,327.16 Canadian Dollars and this fluctuates a lot.
CAD wrestles a lot with USD,
just as USD wrestles a lot with EUR & GBP.

Canadian Dollars is lower than US dollar.

Her 1000 USD is almost 1,5 Canadian dollars

Good day my good people
Please I have some questions
1) Is it possible that after payment in the new portal, that one's application will be submitted automatically?

2) I have been trying to login my application with my phone but it will keep telling me wrong password or email even after adding the "you@yourhost.com" to my email? My uncle who login with laptop with same details didn't encounter this difficulty that I'm having.
Pls someone shd guide me

Hi everyone, my parents' passports are ready for pickup. My dad will be going to get them. Will VFS require anything from him when he goes? I don't think he has any slip or receipt with him anymore.

Thanks bro, I hope you are enjoying your stay in Canada?

Reason I asked if necessary to pay for the hotel before boarding is because last time I visited south africa people are denied at the port of entry, and If there's anyone in the thread that recently travel for tourist can answer this question.

Because hotel booking is not applicable to those who visited their spouses or relatives.

Bro just make reservations. If you really want to pay, check for hotel you can cancel and get your money back incase you don’t later like the place or der service.

Photocopy of his int’l passport, he should write his tracking number on it. That’s all.

To visit my sister….. Just brief your purpose of visit in one or two sentences. In my case I wrote “ to visit my wife who’s an int’l student in *** college*

They still stamp o.

The first cbsa officer that interviewed n marked my kiosk receipt, I tot that was immigration so I went to claim my luggage. While trying to exit the airport I was turned back because my passport wasn’t stamped, I was ask to go back.

My passport was later stamped after I passed immigration, I was then allowed to leave. Passports n kiosk receipts were check before you can exist the airport.
