FIFA has announced that each player participating in the group stage of the 2023 World Cup will receive $30,000 (£24,000), with that figure rising throughout the tournament to $270,000 (£213,000) for the eventual winners. The overall pot of money available to each governing body has, however, risen from $30m (£24m) to $110m (£87m).

Very greedy lots. The FAs are even saying they won't be paying players any more bonus to add to the FIFA bonus. One of the reasons South Africa women team called up 13 year old to play friendly against Botswana. End up losing 5-0
