Of course I've heard of different kind of jamb runs. The person that gave her scholarship herself had to confirm by downloading it from jamb's before the gift and mere looking at this girl I doubt she can gather money to hire hackers or pay jamb officials to manipulate from the inside. This girl might even struggle with school fees wahala. Let them do the investigation first to see who is telling the truth between both but I'm still certain those scores were put in by jamb before their review.
Which investigation again.
Go to jamb website and read everything. The girl and her results are clear frauds.
Jamb changed their templates every year, they hilariously used the QR code of last year exam.
Also in the video she made, her claim of printing out of jamb website is laughable. Jamb do not even allow printout/results notification again.
She wasn’t the only one to forged her results, one guy from kaduna did also, his own case is even worse, claimed to scored 380 when infact he never sat for the exam. He is also fighting for highest scorer before the fraud was discovered
What’s hilarious about the two is that the qrcode they both use was the same and when scanned ,actually leads to the same name ,One Mariam who scored 138.
Infact if you googled jamb results, that’s the first qrcode that will pop up. Such a poor, shoddy job.
Since jamb do not do results notification again, not only is her sms quite laughable, her claim of printing out from jamb website is quite ridiculous.
Also jamb has sent a spokesperson to Nta to clear the issue, you can watch it and clear your doubts as to her fraud.
Unfortunately in Nigeria these days every discussion always devolved into a tribal discussion.
Foolish people like these are on this thread as well.
She is a fraud and if anyone deserves anything,it’s the other genuine high scorer who ironically is from Anambra as well.

It is interesting that you are against any form of fraud and corruption. I hope it transcends beyond Mmesoma. She has come out to defend herself in a public video. I hope our president will learn something from her.

So, having openly debunked the allegations, let an investigation be done to expose what really happened.
Coming out to make a speech is not debunking.

Instead of people criticizing JAMB for not doing their jobs properly, it's the victims of JAMB's incompetence that are getting stick. If not that Nigeria is a lawless place, JAMB should be getting slapped with major fines.
It’s not a case of jamb not doing their job. The girl is a criminal and accomplice.
I was on her side before not until the newer revelations.
Also go to jamb website and read a detailed explanation from jamb.
It’s an easy thing to do to bash Nigerian institutions but not in this case.

Lol, the girl is a scam.

Stop defending an obvious scam, it’s obvious to anyone that wrote jamb, you can enquire from anyone that wrote jamb this year if you know any whether they got that jamb slip template the girl is parading about.
She is. A clear case of fraud.

https://techpoint.africa/2023/05/08/how-to-check-your-jamb-result/#:~:text=How%20to%20check%20your%20JAMB%20result%20via%20SMS&text=To%20check%20your%20results%20through,number%20as%20a%20text%20message.

How to check online
As of the time of writing this article, checking JAMB results online for 2023 candidates had not begun. However, below are 3 easy steps to check and download your result online.

Visit https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and log in to your account with your email and password.
A new page opens, and there you'd find a dashboard. Find "Print Result Slip" on the dashboard and click on it.
A payment portal will appear and you will be asked to select your payment method. After successful confirmation of payment, comes the final step.
You will be asked to provide your registration number and examination year. After providing this information, click on "Print Result Slip," and voila, your JAMB result downloads automatically on your device
I am actually suprised that no news medium has waded into this issue. The first thing is to get someone else who has taken jamb and go through the process of getting their result.

It is an empirical process where you can process the result and confirm if it actually matches.for instance If there actually is a payment portal, it is much more likely an adult processed the result.

There was a boy from Kogi who also forged his JAMB score and he was caught and exposed nobody made excuses for him, why are some of us shielding the alleged perpetrator this time around?
It is possible to hack into the JAMB server without any form of collaboration with the insiders all you need to do is brute force into the database and boom you can edit whatever you want to edit. Another method of forging results is by using graphic design tools to design and present.

Innoson stated he printed out the result before awarding her the scholarship and I don't believe he'll lie for clout. There surely has to be an investigation probably by an external body except we all believe jamb is infallible. Was it not under them snake mysteriously swallowed money?

Yes I did, I watched her video.

In fact that video further implicated her because the result slip she showed is no longer in use by jamb since 2021.

This is her original results.
She scored 249 not 362.
Jamb has has also released the list of the top 10 highest scorers for this year exam. The highest was 360 and the lowest among top 10 is 355. No one did 362.
And also she was the one just like the guy who did not write the exam in kaduna who declared herself highest scorer.
Please let common sense prevail.

The snake swallowing money saga came up because the then new registrar Oloyede was cleaning house. The official talking about snakes could not account for money she was supposed to have remitted to the office. Today jamb is fully self funded as the loopholes where staff enrich themselves have been closed. That is a poor analogy

https://www.nairaland.com/822196/it-begins-me/706#124200136

The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), which conducts the UTME, had announced that Miss Nkechinyere Umeh had the highest score of 360. However, the media later reported that Mmesoma Ejikeme had the highest score of 362. Innoson Motors awarded a scholarship to Mmesoma Ejikeme and the Anambra State Government wanted to honour her, so it contacted JAMB to verify that she actually had the highest score. That's when the drama began.

JAMB checked its system and discovered that nobody scored 362. The Anambra State Government sent a copy of the result to JAMB and JAMB scanned the QR code on the result and discovered that it belonged to a candidate named Omobolanle who sat for the exam in 2021 and scored 138. So they then used her registration number to check on the system and they discovered that Mmesoma Ejikeme scored 249.

JAMB then investigated further and discovered that Mmesoma Ejikeme had sent a text message to their text messaging service. JAMB has a particular short code that they use to communicate with students before, during and after the exams, so she sent a message to that number and JAMB's system sent her the original result of 249. She then replied the system with the 362 result, but the system sent her original result again. This back and forth happened around 4 times. JAMB said that anyone that wants to investigate can go to Airtel to get the complete details of the communication between Mmesoma Ejikeme and the short code (they said that she uses an Airtel line).

JAMB also said that the result slip has 17 different security features that enables JAMB to correctly identify every single unique result and therefore they can easily identify an original result slip.

It was after this investigation that JAMB released a statement that Mmesoma Ejikeme forged the result. Watch video here:

However, Mmesoma Ejikeme released a video in which she said that she checked her result on the JAMB portal online and it gave her the result slip. She said that there was later controversy about the result, so she sent an SMS to the short code but the reply she got was "Wrong parameter". She said that they scanned the QR code on the result and it showed Omobola Afolabi with a score of 138. She said that they checked for the Omobola Afolabi and saw that the person got 238.

Watch the videos here: and https://twitter.com/UchePOkoye/status/1675911474672283648

Mad people have gotten involved in the issue and they have infused ethnic bigotry and political rivalry into it.

For me the most important thing at this moment is not whether she forged the result or not. The question that has been in my mind all along is WHY DID JAMB RELEASE A STATEMENT THAT THE GIRL FORGED THE RESULT??

That girl must be younger than 18 years old and if she is, that means that she is a minor. It is completely wrong for JAMB to release a statement that she forged the result, whether she actually did or not. In such situations:

1) It is wrong for JAMB to release her name, whether or not her name is already in the media.

2) JAMB should not have stated categorically that she forged the result. That should be for the courts (not even the police) to decide.

3) Some might say that the statement was necessary so that people are not scammed, but I do not agree. What JAMB should have done is to simply release a statement that stated the person that has the highest score and what the score is as it appears on their system. They should not have gone further to claim that Mmesoma Ejikeme forged the result with her.

4) Then JAMB should have handed the matter over to the police to investigate.

That's it.

There are thousands of Nairalanders who took jamb this year.

That is the irony. It is like when dave chapelle was joking about Jesse smolet case. Every black dude knew he was lying, but they kept quiet for the culture.

Anyone who took jamb or who has a kid or ward who took jamb are all looking at their slips/printouts and saying among themselves - dude, this girl is lying tho.

I'm also letting common sense prevail by also demanding a full investigation into the case because jamb themselves are definitely not infallible. I posted here about my bro getting two different results via mms in the space of some weeks few years back. Innoson said he went to confirm the score before awarding the scholarship. Hopefully he shares the printout or information he got. If she scored 249 is not really the issue how it jumped up to 362 is the mystery here.

It might be poor alright but so far it occurred under prof it's possible under inconsistencies can occur under him before being corrected like his cleanup of that case in Benue. I won't put it past them to have made a mistake while uploading some way you think she forged the result.

So a successful investigation and enquiry into fraud within your organization is your metric? OK
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 9:20am On Jul 04, 2023
This is actually why institutions like unilag regularly post students academic status in national dailies every year. Because for reasons students can and do lie about their academics to their parents. I knew people who flunked out of medical school in 100l and could not tell anyone and continued the chararade up to they graduated from a different course. No be today.
