Don't mind him. I just don't want it to appear as if we are bringing some players down to praise other players ni.

I can't even remember, but I know we saw shege immediately Saliba was out of the starting 11.

If Arteta want to use his hand scatter all the goodwill he has been enjoying, he should start benching Saliba for no reason and see how far he will go with Benjamin White wazo cheesy

4. William SALIBA, Arsenal/France
Why he's on the list:

Simply put, he was one of the revelations of the Premier League season. Until his injury against Sporting in the Europa League, he was the best centre-back in England despite being only 22 and having no knowledge of English football or the league prior to this year. He just fitted in so well, integrating and learning fast what Mikel Arteta wanted from him, showcasing his defensive abilities and quality on the ball.

There were mistakes, of course, as he's still learning, but he has already reached a great level with Arsenal and made his international debut with France too, including taking part in the World Cup.

Iamoyindamola, e be like say ESPN no know ball. tongue

You guys should rest this matter. Football is an highly teamwork game. One weak player in any of the 11 positions will cause breakdown. 1 or 2 star players can't do it alone. When Partey got injured and Elneny wasn't available we lost with Lokonga even with our strongest defense. When Jesus (a star player) got injured, we didn't feel it much because Nketiah was up to. When Zinny (#3 LB) got injured, we were still able to win Matches because Tierney was capable replacement.

The reason the defense collapsed after Saliba injury was because Holding and Kiwor were not capable to fit in. If Tomi was available then, we might still be strong enough to win cos White would have moved to CB while Tomi play RB.

Look if the injury had happened to Gabu or White instead of Saliba, and Tomi unavailable, we would have experienced the same collapse because we had no strong back up for the 3 of them then.

The argument of mostob was clearly to highlight players that cannot be benched because of lack of adequate replacement for them.

Zinny is highly rated but can be benched because we have a very good LB in Tierney.

Jesus is highly rated but can be benched because Balo and Nketiah can fill in without much drop.

Same with Martinelli and others including Partey now that we got Rice.

But right now we have to pray that no injury should come to Saka, Gabu and Ramsdale because we don't have strong backup for them considering Nelson, Kiwor and Turner. Our goal is to be like City where any player can be benched without a drop in quality. Even though there will always be a preferred 1st 11.

That said, that a player can be benched doesn't mean the Manager will just bench him at will when the player is among the preferred 1st 11.

I hope we can rest this unnecessary argument now.

Too many assumptions, Kanipe analysis, could've , should've, and would've in one post.

We are talking about what happened and not what could've happened. When the time comes for "kanipe analysis', this post will be very much appreciated.

You have problem understanding the 'kanipe'projections but failed to fault the real occurrences of last season that projected the kanipe assumptions? It was 'Kanipe' that when Partey got injured even with Saliba on the field we lost abi? And it was kanipe that when Zinny got injured we survived with Tierney?

In your sound football sense only Saliba is holding the defense and will determine if we win or lose. Once a manager mistakenly bring him out or he got injured we have lost right? Brilliant!

How were we even able to win Matches the season before Saliba join the team sef? Guess we were just lucky with those wins.

All hail King Saliba without which no win!

If your brain cannot interpret my posts and mostob posts better than the responses and silly tantrums you were throwing, I think I have been generous giving your posts the interpretation and response I gave.

Yes. We are all entitled to our choice of interpretations whether smart or silly. Other readers will read and interprete to their understanding too.

The joke is on u. U mentioned me over a post that wasn’t begging for ur attention.

If u are smart as u are laying claim to now, u would’ve ignored my post instead of referring to it as “unnecessary argument “ in the first place
