Omo, we saw Tokunbo Ajayi as one goddess then or was it because of the circumstance of her death?

Fatima Abbas Hassan
Eugenia Abu
Abike Dabiri
Ruth Benemasia Opia
Moji Makanjuola
Aisha Bello

I miss them.

Benamaisia-Opia. My favorite. She made me always look forward to weekend night news. And I was just a kid.

By my own standards o , Eugenia Abu was the most elegant of them back then. Black and chic with a pleasant face at all times

Maudlin Park, specifically. That's when NTA was like a TV channel of a country without religion at the centre of everything, until beginning of the 1999s when hooded started to women converted NTA newscast like Taliban controlled women in a race for religious purity. They want to tell the world that Nigeria is an Islamic Republic
Re: You Remember The NTA Ladies Of The 1970-90s? by Baatunde(m): 11:13pm On Jul 04, 2023
You have just demonstrated part of the religious bigotry and intolerance which has pervaded all sections of our affairs in Nigeria.... I was almost going to say this is one thread we are all enjoying without tribal and religious sentiments but alas you have just managed to ruin everything again

I know all of them. Very eloquent folks.

It was nice watching all of them on TV back in the early 1980s thru the 1990s.

Yinka Craig, Sola Omole, Lola Ogunbambi, Sienne Allwell-Brown, Ruth Benamaisia, Frank Olize, and Tokunbo Ajayi were a delight to watch.

Indomie generation should keep clear of this thread grin grin grin grin grin grin

Nigerians started eating Indomie in 1990 or 1991 if I am correct.

Funny, the first time I ate noodles was in 1988. It was in my dormitory and my classmate let me taste some. Imagine when it became popular in the 1990s.

Good one @ that alongside Akinloye Oyebanji on NTA sports. Yes I think former governor Ibikunle Amosun appointed her sports commissioner in Ogun State. Nostalgic good old days I tell you sir.
I worked with her at Globacom some years ago

In the Arab countries TV broadcasts, you can't see hooded women broadcasters as if in competition to show viewers that their respective country's an Islamic Republic.

I dont just understand your grammar honestly, where did you see HOODED women on TV in Nigeria abeg. Perhaps you were watching another TV. Let me help you out, if you are talking about Hauwa Baba Ahmed or Fatima Abbas Hassan, the head scarf they wear is no different from that of Siene All-Well Brown or any other of those lady, except you particularly have issue with seeing Muslim women on TV then or you are suggesting that northern women who ordinarily wear this type of head scarf should not be on tv, then that would be understood to be your own aggro and would show you to be an hateful person

Amah70:
