Hope you know Inec closed their defence yesterday with just 3 documents and a single witness who shot himself in the leg cos he ended up contradicting himself. In a nutshell Inec has no single defense to prove they hosted a credible election, they couldn't even present documents that proves Tinubu stood a slight chance of actually winning the election. He who alleges must prove.

INEC has little or nothing to do here as most of the issues have already been determined by the supreme court and the judges of the Court of Appeal/ PEPT will just rely on judicial precedents. The Petitioners have not also shown substantial non-compliance of INEC with the Electoral Act. INEC can win the case without calling a witness.

So the perjury case hanging on Tinubu where he swore under oath to have no dual citizenship meanwhile he has a deplomatic citizenship ain't that perjury to you and strong enough to disqualify his candidacy? Do you even know that the NYSC certificate Tinubu presented to Inec is actually fake? Oh yea, there was no NYSC exemption in the year 1973. It was only introduced in late 90s. Tinubu/Shetima and Apc couldn't defend all the above with a concrete counter but brought a witness a serving senator with over 30yrs relationship with Tinubu to stand as witness. It's like calling on Sanwo Olu to stand as witness for Tinubu. His job is at stake so he will do his best to lie if he had to to cover for his boss.

Supreme court dismissed the case cos high court did same and appeal court both did same and that's cos it was a pre-election matter and when it was filed it was already a post election matter and so they dismissed it cos they cannot file a pre-election case during post election matter.
