Wike is the state governor of Rivers, It wasnt Buhari that handled them

So the WIke in this case should be SE state governors
Of course.

One of the reasons why Soludo would always be a failure to me.

One of the reasons why robberies stopped on 3MB was because there are RRS patrols stationed at the beginning, middle and end of the bridge.

They did not need to ask all the Makoko residents who were the thieves. If dem born the person well, come and rob and escape.

It is in Nigeria you will hear that the Police needs to be asking who did what or not.

There is obviously little or no presence of security, and that is why crime would continue to thrive
When yoruba nation was disturbing ojota did RRS go or not
Now BAT should calm down talk to governors instead of taking actions grin grin

Whatever Wike did, the SE governors should go learn it first and apply. When that is not working then they can come out and ask for FG support or let Wike rule their states for 6months

You are saying everything needed to stop UGM is controlled by FG

Then how did Wike stop it? Was Wike FG?
Nope
He probably collaborated with the structure in
his state.

One thing is clear
He does not control the Police, Army, Navy or Airforce in his state.

So, if anyone is asking Tinubu to secure anywhere in Nigeria, the person is not wrong

State governors have a role to play in governance, everything should not be from Abuja. If a state governor is clueless on how to protect the people that voted him then he should resign. Wike did it, Then others dont have an excuse.

Buhari did not direct secure Rivers from IPOB, Wike did. That is what a governor is expected to do

Governors cannot be collecting allocation, security votes and when its time to deliver they point to Abuja all the time

As long as the FG has all the cards for security, they would always be called upon.

It is because of all these soft measures that we have insecurity everywhere.

I cannot be diplomatic with anybody that wants to hurt me.

Wike didn't apply diplomacy when he handled IPOB. The ones that have been applying diplomacy are still having it hot hot.

the issue is that while you may be reasonable about this, most of your kinsmen are unlikely to be
look at how a clear case of incompetent examination forgery was politicized

any incursion by the military and the next thing we will hear is tinubu is dealing with the SE because they did not vote for him

even engagement of the governors does not guarantee no issues

fashola engaged peter obis admin before deportation of destitutes in 2013, but when there was an outcry, peter obi claimed he was never engaged.

we may even see chief adicihie writing long epistle about her people under siege by a baleful and hateful federal government

as for wike, that is another of the reasons he could never have run for president.

These murderers are not selecting their victims; so this is not about my kinsmen or being reasonable.

A woman and her 4 kids from Adamawa were slaughtered last year...The same UGM.

So do we need to beg UGM to kill more Hausas and Yorubas, so that Tinubu will intervene, seeing that the death of the Igbos is solely responsible on how their kinsmen think?

....everyone is right. Afrodoc and raumdeuter are looking at it from diplomacy and political points of view but izzou wants brutal force used to end the nonsense once and for all.

I go with izzou coz PBAT has nothing to lose politically in SE but he has lives and properties to protect in the Region.

Lockdown the State, since that's exactly what IPOB want by declaring a whole week sit-at-home. From a Day per week to a whole week? Soon its gonna be a Month sit-at-home but before it turns to that, FG should do the needful.

SE ain't as big as NE and it shares no border with any neighbouring nations, thus it won't be difficult to fishout and flushout the modafuckers and send them to their Maker for final Judgement.

State of Emergency is only option that should be on the table, coz the matter is getting out of hand gradually.

UPDATE FROM THE TRIBUNAL

Part of the documents tendered today by President Tinubu through his Counsel seeks to prove that Peter Obi has a case of double nomination.

Mr Obi purportedly resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party on 26th May 2022 to join LP on 27th May 2022.

The Labour Party conducted its Presidential Primary election on 30th May, 2022 which produced Mr Obi as the candidate it intended to sponsor in the general election.

It says by virtue of section 77(3) of the Electoral Act, Labour is mandated to have submitted its comprehensive register of members to INEC, 30 days before its presidential primary, implying that the register of members must have been submitted to INEC on or before 30th April, 2022.

Mr Obi as at 30th April, 2022 was still a member of the PDP and his name was not in the register of members submitted by Labour Party to INEC.

According to his Counsel, Peter Obi was still a member of PDP when he contested the presidential Election under the Labour Party.

Cc Airmark. Tinubu is teaching these folks Politics 101. Yesterday was a banger, today is lit too.
Being so busy I couldn't follow up this week.

So when Tinubu said Obi was labouring in vain, no Obidient got the memo? 😄

One of the reasons that insurgency and insecurity thrives is because FG will always give allocation to every state at the end of each month.

So even if your state doesn't generate 1 naira, FG credit Alert must drop monthly.

If every state was solely responsible to generate and pay themselves, Soludo and other governors would be riding their horses, with a sword on the left hand and an AK on the right, slaughtering any bagger that wants to cause mayhem in their states.

.....I like what Hope Uzodimma is doing in Imo State, especially in Orlu. He is keeping it hot, fire for fire and unlike rest SE States, sit-at-home seems no longer effective in the State.

I like Soludo but he needs to stop barking and take strict actions. He has tried dialogue - failed. Tried church intervention - failed. I hope he aligns wih reality that only wikesque style gonna work.

Ebueagu has failed woefully. It is not gonna work. Uba strategy ain't gonna work either, rather it may beget another militia group(s). Arming people anyhow in the name of fighting insecurity is a recipe for disaster.

Tinubu should deploy both Airforce and Army to the region. We have drones to serve as eyes in the sky. We also have JF-17 and Tucanos to bomb them to hell.

Our Army are well equpped with big-foot MRAPs and light Tanks - PBAT should give the order NOW.

I always want to believe that governors with insecurity issues tend to embezzle the most.

They can easily declare next to nothing revenue and it would be accepted. They can also say they invested their FAAC into fighting insecurity and everybody would believe.

Let every state raise their monies, and even BK would be surprised with how much fire power a state governor can mobilise

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 4:47pm On Jul 05, 2023
When the construction of the FLNG facility is completed, it will have an LNG nameplate production capacity of 1.2 million metric ton per annum and a storage capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, as well as ancillary facilities to be located 60 km from the shore of Akwa Ibom State.

Nigeria currently has an estimated 209 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of proven gas and a potential upside of 600 Tcf of gas, the most extensive in Africa, and in the top 10 globally. With the world moving to cleaner energy, Nigeria holds a vantage position.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 4:48pm On Jul 05, 2023
A $5 billion MoU has been signed with the AFREXIM Bank for the financing of this project.

President Tinubu met with Professor Benedict Oramah, the President of AFREXIM Bank, at the two-day global financing summit in Paris, France, where they most certainly discussed it amongst other issues.

The facility is crucial to Nigeria's energy diversification and transition plan and, when completed, should ease the reliance on petrol (fossil fuel) as the country settles into a post-subsidy era.

He should do quick consultation first. Igbos are everywhere and the IPOB will not stop at anything to spread fake news of annihilation by Tinubu to Igbos outside of SE, which may result in crises.

Wisdom is needed.

It depends on if she followed gwrs laid down processes. Remember chef dammy was 'hoping to be considered '.

Assuming she notified them, set all the cameras and did everything as expected, then I guess they will review the footage and get back to her.

For your sake I hope she loses so you can feature in the next attempt. wink
