How many times will Southeast Governors and Ohaneze tell FG to release Nnamdi Kanu and it was refused?

Was it not the Southeast Governors and Ohaneze communique that FG used in declaring IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu as terrorists?

Tell the FG to release Nnamdi Kanu or shut up you mouth because none of your opinions are needed anymore.

That would have worsen the situation. They kept low in Rivers state cos they are not that strong.

That should have been the responsibility of their elders and their political leaders. How can some few disgruntled kids be locking millions of people at home?
May be they have government backing to be so strong. That cd be what Seunn was tweeting about

I have never seen a northerner supporting bandits or bokoharam rather, northerners form vigilante groups and civilian JTF, which collaborate with security agencies in fighting banditry and terrorism. We condemn and fight them. We don't defend them or give any excuse on their behalf.

And as you can see bokoharam is now a past tense and banditry is gradually fading away

Before you tag me Igbo, I will let you know first hand That I am not.
Seun is privileged to know some information's you are not privileged to know. I stand with him on this.

You should rather seek information and clarify matters before jumping into conclusions. You let emotions becloud your judgements most times which s not good for a full grown adult.

Igbos welcomed ESN just like We Yorubas did with Amotekun. This was to counter wanton crimes and killings being committed by herdsmen in the southern region.
Seun is right by saying the Government who stood bye and watch herdsmen commit all these atrocities and did nothing to call them to order or even caution them,is responsible.
Governments actions and inactions led to the formation of these groups. The people have to defend themselves.
This and many more reasons which I cannot bring up here are reasons why the government should be held responsible.

Again you cant say that banditry has reduced in the North. Still remains same.

Why is it that when the army goes after these bandits and bombs their locations, a particular Northern tribe always cry out that innocent herders were killed in the attack?
Why always them at the bombed locations?
Banditry and wanton killings still persists in the North and would only take political will from the government to eradicate.

Hopefully the present government will do so as the former did little to fight them.

If your commend doesn’t make sense, why should you worry about getting banned

Seun I understand that Nairaland is your hustling point... And you're trying to protect and also market your forum and also trying hard not to offend the Easterners who constitute at least 30% of nairaland users...

But does what you said really make any sense to you??

What’s is Seun’s business about Igbo Yoruba he’s just doing his business and telling the truth as a Nigerians .

We all knew how it started. We knew Buahari government acted unreasonable towards all agitators. so it’s governments fault

Nobody is supporting UGM, they are active because government allows them. You will see government in action when they start attacking non igbos.

You misunderstood Seun
What Seun was saying is that Government should not have allowed ipob terrorists to dominate south east I.e Wike’s treatment should have been given to them
The only reason IPOB/UGM/ESN or other names they are known by are thriving in the SE is because they get support from majority of South Easterners. If you take Wike to Ebonyi or Abia State, he would be useless to stop the atrocities of IPOB.

May you be neglected in life the way government neglected those people to the extent that they have to sing the praises of some disgruntle elements in order to remain alive.
The primary responsibilities of any responsible government is to protect the lives and properties of the citizens and any government that fails to do that is a failure.

Arrewa, Igbos are not your enemies, we're not the cause of the issues in the North. Infact, everyone who is not in the political class is a victim so leave Igbos alone!
