But let me be blunt. If you have a child already then skip marriage get a nanny if you can afford it.

Then when you click 50 find on desperate evening newspaper who is in her 40s then marry jer so she can look after you in your old age

You have total peace of mind only if your child is with her own mother, and the only way it is perfect is if that her mother is also your beloved girlfriend or wife. My family have a tradition to never leave kids outside. I have lots of friends who are doing the same. The odd thing is you are trying hard to justify your abnormal experiences as normal.
