Oga, its 5Trillion + not 6trillion just like Ondo, Ogun state, right and if you take a closer look at the Youbudget ( I believe you are the OP) , you'd observe that the SW economy is bigger than SE combined. So, what's the use of this thread?

As you can see, the saying that the SW economy is the bigger than SE is true after all.

Alambra is not a country, right? cool
SE is 18trillion while SW is 17trillion minus lagos

I keep telling you guys that IGR doesn't measure economy, it's a tax revenue generated by government, GDP measure economy not IGR, Imo and Anambra has bigger economy than all western states minus Lagos

All western states or just one western states...so you mean if they add all the GDP of all western states, it's still not up to IMO

Is that what you mean?

NB stop saying minus Lagos.
Lagos is part of western states.....you only try to bring down other western states by saying that...

It still proves that SW economy is way,way above that of the SE now.
Sometimes, gdp changes because of the economical activities in that area and sometimes due to policies of the leadership.
SW states have consistently been at the top.

I agree with you, southwest has a larger economy.
But this figures show that economic growth has not really been happening in other parts of southwest outside of lagos compared to southeast.
Seems like lfos and it axis is someone attracting the investments that should go to other states.

We can disagree to agree

Wow...SW is even doing well even with you removing Lagos from it....

If you con add Lagos join nko?

Bottom line is that, the United nation sees Nigeria as a whole and not south east or south west....

I expect everyone should be proud of one another and help one another...

With that we can beat other countries

The bolded can only be ascertained with the most recent stats. A deep observation of the data being thrown around are dated back and repetitive of the same 2013-2017.

I never argued over NBS table doorh. I only stated it is Nominal and it's why Lagos was initially skipped.

Now, go back to the said NBS stats and compared it with the bogus claim of 7$b, and then tell us how he or you arrive at that since you believe both, don't you?

This is pure logic it's not rocket science at all.
Simple.

GDP means, the gross domestic... Which covers, Agric, industries, banking, etc. Now, ask yourself hasn't Nigeria made any progress or none in these areas of the economy?

This is a simple logic. Use your head.

Not that I dont believe Budgit but it has a caveat.
GDP fluctuates.SW states have always been in the top 10.
This one from NBS still shows that SW leads.
Yorubas their highest economical activities in Lagos because it is in the SW.
SW states are still in the top 10.
Yorubaland still leads.

You are referring to Nigeria not a state or anambra and if we are to go by your logic SW cover the most Gross domestic product " even according the OP table and NBS. Can't you see that? cool

So, you may want to humble yourself and acknowledge the superiority of the SW. Lool
