I see nothing wrong here. The man is an acting governor for now not a deputy governor and he needs to take charge. The state is bigger than any man, Ondo is not Aketi's private company. The lives of million rely on decisions that come out of that government House. Even Buhari handed over to Osibanjo when he was sick and the man performed excellently in the absence of his boss.

But this is Nigeria where nothing works

the deputy governor is the governor, he deserves all allowance as far as he is the acting governor. You cannot pay someone for the work he didn't do. Akeredolu didn't do The work why giving him the allowance. His salary should be given to him but allowance belong to the office should be given to the acting governor.
Anyways I forget this is a country that was paying a senator his salary and allowances while he was in prison.
