Those animals broke into our house around 2am, tied up the security guard before entering the main apartment after breaking the burglarproof of one of the windows, about 7 of them all wielding machetes. Hubby almost lost three fingers when they injured him, they took away his car, our phones, laptops and some cash. It was one of the most terrible experience that I'll never forget

Mine was in a traffic. Two guys approached me and was hitting my car that the my tyre is bad and that I should take it to my mechanic for repair and as I peeped through my side window to check how bad it was, the second criminal took my phones from the passenger's side. He opened my door and Collected the phones within 2 seconds. Every where was roudy as a result of the hold up and it was around 8pm. So i didn't even noticed what happened. Funny thing is that I didn't know my phon4 was stolen, it was another driver in another car behind me that told me to check if my phone was still in my car, boom as I looked on my seat I saw my phones was gone.

Public Execution by Firing Squad should be reintroduced.
The Public need to witness the reward of armed Robbery.
That's one way to deter Armed Robbers.

I was robbed at Knife- point.. hahaha. They were fiercely looking guys. One held by the collar , another put a knife to my throat. My expensive phone and money taken but I thank God I didn't struggle with them. They let me go.

Told him my ordeal, he drove me back to the school, gave me a revolver pistol and gave me a firm order to shoot the leader of the pack anywhere I pleased, once we saw them. Sure enough, these dudes were still on that table drinking with my money. I just stretched out, let one bullet loose to his left knee and the rest scattered. Took back my belongings from his pockets and we left him there, screaming and crying. Of course I was pretty shaken, but that experience left me with a lifelong memory. And I'm glad I had my flesh pound, there and then.

2013, I was out between 10pm and midnight, running my taxi services, since it was one of my sources of income then. This dude charters me to drop him at Nasarawa village around 8miles, Calabar. I always knew that place to be a rough slum with daredevil criminals, just didn't imagine I was ever going to encounter one. We get there, dude pulls a knife and tells me to kill the engine. First thought in my head was having to face the reality of losing my car to a robber. I turn it off, but as he makes to step out through his door, I quickly got my self-defence pistol from under my seat, and since it was quite dark, he didn't exactly get a detailed view of my movements. He walks over and I let one fly at close range. He got it at the shoulder and I quickly reversed and made out of that cesspit. Again, I was glad I learnt my lesson from that 2011 incident. I never went to uncomfortable places or drove at nights without my self-defence gadget I got from that my frat dude.

Got tons of these experiences, but meh! Welcome to Nigeria!

Had an experience 2015 bck then was in 300L in delsu. Travelling along eku abraka road . It was raining and suddenly 14 guys in mask appeared from d bush they shot at our bus tyre and it went flat , the driver struggled with the stirring while trying to prevent the bus from somersaulting . They shot another one at us they thought the driver wanted to run and the person sitted next to me got hitted on the neck . She died at the spot. We were all robbed of our belongings. Left with nothing on the highway. No driver wanted stop for us after they left and it was raining heavily. When we manage got some help to our destination some people who lost their id card went to filed a report with the police at their station unfortunately police didnt respond. That was when it due on me that we are on our own in this country

Anybody who schooled in Unical and Crutech between 2005 and 2013 will tell you how perpetually scary those environments were. Back then, if you were not a habitual church goer, you needed to be part of one cult or the other, to be able to peacefully survive your school years. Guns were toys of identity on the streets. And it was even worse if you were considered to be a student who was comfortable or well to do. I was driving to school from my first year and using the same vehicle for commercial purposes in the evenings. And I liked to dress well. Plus I liked having beers at the back of the Unical library. That was unarguably one of the temples of Crime in Calabar South. Initiations into various cult groups were being carried out in the river that flows behind that library, on a weekly basis.

Trust me, my best survival was that gun I owned and the immunity I enjoyed courtesy of one of the cult capons who was a very good senior friend. I wasn't a church goer and certainly not a cultist, but I had peace in school.

Sometime in 2015.l was coming home from the shop with my car in the evening.l l opened the gate parked the car in and moved to close the gate then they appeared bundled me into the car zoomed out of the compound threaten to kill me then dumped me somewhere in the bush and made away with the car,laptop,money from the days sales,some other extra cash and recharge cards .The car was recovered but not sound engine wise.

I had a recent experience months ago ...the person(s) targetted me very well,took away my 2 cylinders,coolers of food,luck I had was I didn't bring my industrial stove out too,I said lemmi rush to grind before bringing the stove out.

For the first time in years I cried like a baby,broken,exposed and down casted.
It felt like life had bn ripped outta me and I felt like dying because that was my sweat ripped off from me,stolen just like that....I was practically crying like a baby that day

Thanks to pocohantas, gazzuzz and folake4u that rallied around and came through for me.

That experience really shook me and since then I nor dey looseguard again.
It hurts when you're bn robbed,it's not a pleasant experience.
