We Are Struggling Financially, Should We Sell Our Dad's Property Due To Bad Area by dboY1123(op): 4:15am On Jul 08, 2023
I need a very solid advice.
My mum gave birth to 6 children and we are remaining five because we lost the second born(male) last year, he was about 46 years old(blessed memory).

Last year, we lost our mum to heart related illness after efforts proved abortive. My Dad is a Pastor, a big church of a plot and half land mass, but few members over the years.
I am a fresh graduate searching for job and my sister who's the third born lost her husband last year as well.

Our believe is that the area (family house) is devilish. My sisters believed that my mum's death wasn't ordinary but from that area.. Just this Monday, my dad has stroke ( his left leg and hand ), he said he had insomnia previous night(Sunday), but I quickly rush him with BP drugs.. When the nurse came to check his BP that same Monday, it wasn't high at all.. We took him away from that area.

Now, the issue is.. My dad is a CAC pastor, and most times CAC would take over the church if the owner dies.. We the children are still struggling financially and none of us is ready to become a pastor(to head the church).

I am having this thought that, to avoid such scenario (CAC taking over) why not just sell or lease it out? We have another building in Oyo state, and also a house beside the church.

I don't know if I'm thinking the wrong way though, that is why I need advice., Before I go ahead and table it before my sisters and my Dad. Myself, I don't want to continue in that area again.. Meaning nobody would stay, but our house which is beside the church, we can renovate it very well and that one in Ibadan and rent it out...
Please I need good and mature advice.
Thanks

I will suggest you sell the house and move away from the area. You guys can always start over again in another location.
Also use the proceed to take care of each other and may God be with your family these trying times.

Sell it and make proper use of it, your dad must be in support of whatever decision you'll be taking. Sorry for your predicament may God console your family and solve all your hidden problems

Your first gaffe is giving your father unprescribed medication and then attributing his condition to spiritual forces or attack.

As for his properties, is your father incapacitated that he's unable to make decisions on them? You're planning to sell his property, but what plans do you have for your own self development? What gives you the confidence that you won't sell his other properties when he passes on? What are you doing to get your own property(ies)?

That is not the point sir.. I am not after his property, but we are currently facing financial crisis and I'm not even talking about myself.. Everyone is involved. I'm not sure you took your time to go through what I wrote though.
Please kindly go through it first.

He's a small boy and doesn't know anything, they are everywhere in this forum. Ignore him and wait for reasonable women and men to come in with their advise. Avoid taking advise from the likes of Faber, and any of those ones with the redpill mentality.

Use what you have to care for your needs. But don't do it without your dad's knowledge

Definitely.. I might be thinking the wrong way.
But if it's left to me, I'll renovate both houses(the one in Ibadan and the one he stays in lagos beside the church). Both of them are not really well built or furnished.
My own is that, I don't want CAC to take over it if anything happens. They will become the owner.
All my 3 sisters are married and they have their own houses already, I'm the last born.

SO SORRY FOR ALL THESE AVOIDABLE LOSSES, HERE'S IS A LITTLE TOKEN OF WISDOM FOR YOU

Pls sir, pls Get a LAWYER to really handle this land matter with wisdom so CAC doesn't see your dad as a REBEL(I know how churches handle these kind of issues, they may not even care for what is going on in your home but you see that LAND, they are watching it).

Your brother who died, was supposed to LIFT the family, he was destined to be abroad, even YOU. Chai

Sit your father down, hmmm.... TELL HIM, YOU HAVE TO SELL OFF THESE PROPERTIES. Since he has other ones elsewhere, so he can make do with that. ASSURE HIM THAT HE WILL RECOVER EVERYTHING HE LOST. You all need encouragement.

MANY YEARS AGO YOUR FATHER HAD A CLASH/MISUNDERSTANDING DUE TO ANOTHER PASTOR WHO WAS JEALOUS OF THE FINANCIAL GRACE HE CARRIED..... This current attack stems from people who are offended at the GRACE ON YOUR FAMILY.

NOW FOR YOU AND YOUR SIBLINGS, to stop the attacks add SEA SALT to THE BABALOLA water that you have... SPRINKLE IT ACROSS THE HOUSE WHILE PRAYING.... and one of you will SEE A CLEAR VISION WITHIN 3 - 7 DAYS.

THE FAMILY IS UNDER ATTACK, YOUR DAD IS TRULY CALLED OF GOD BUT HE IS BEING FOUGHT BECAUSE HE DIDNT COMPROMISE

YOUR MUM SAW STRANGE VISIONS BEFORE SHE DIED, SHE KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG BUT COULDN'T PLACE A FINGER ON IT.....

You all in the HOUSE are very gifted BUT stunted, even to finish school was not easy because there were strange challenges too.

I will give you the names of strong genuine men of GOD since nairaland will not allow me drop numbers here, pls go and meet them for FAMILY DELIVERANCE.... and you will see a major change.

I STAND BY GOD'S MERCY AND HIS GRACE ON HIS WORD TO ASSURE YOU THAT THESE BATTLES ARE COMING TO AN END AND YOUR FAMILY WILL EMERGE THE WINNERS,
BUT KNOW THIS-----------
YOUR MUM IS IN HEAVEN, someone may see her in a vision soon.
YOUR DAD WILL NOT DIE(even if you do not go for deliverance or meet any man of GOD, he won't die, he will live and see all of you do well in life.), he will recover speedily from stroke.
YOU WILL GET A GOOD JOB BEFORE NOVEMBER
YOU ALL WILL CELEBRATE VICTORY THIS YEAR IF YOU TRUST GOD AND FIGHT THIS GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

I want to assume that the challenges you are facing in your family is rooted around the family and may not probably be from that land where you guys are living

But since you guys have concluded that it's from that land

Sell everything off including the house you are living and pack out of that place

Tell your dad that you need money to look after his condition and he should allow you all to agree to the sale of that land

Remind him all you are all passing through from one death extention to another

Forget about CAC people, they will buy another land there if they wish
A church that is not growing, what's the essence of keeping it

Meanwhile plan it now that your dad is still alive and can sign some documents to seal the deal let him too benefits from the sales by enjoying the proceed

You dont need to remind him that if he is no more the church will take the land, but let him know that it's for you guys to see money to take care of him because of his condition

If he refuse, you all should give him time and remind him again about it

From what u said here,I don't see any spiritual thing here nor attack.

Yes,environment can limit ur success, can make things very bleak and ugly.

Change ur environment and see things differently.

I guess you didn't know his father is still alive?.

Are the properties his? He can't sell them without his father's consent, and if he does, that will be both irresponsible and criminal of him.

The father must be carried along, and if it's his decision to donate the building to the parent church, so be it and that'll be final.

We should be mindful of the kind of advice we give here.

But he added somethings that I never wrote about.
Like that of Pastor beefing, that's true.
That of my brother who is destined to be abroad is also true, cz I can remember he attempted to.
That of 'you have Babalola's water'.. Someone just gave my sister yesterday we didn't have it before.
