I passed that route 5years ago from nysc camp in awgu going to visit a friend in Michael Okpara University, umudike. I counted more than 12 check points. I have never seen so many military check points close to one another anywhere else in Nigeria

Then you have not travelled between Owo in Ondo state and Okene in Kogi state.....that's the place I've seen the highest concentration of check points....from one you can see the next...it's that close. And that was what helped stem the tide of criminality along that route
