Before prop firms, personal account is the only way to go. You trade what you deposited, period. Doesn't matter if broker A-book or B-book you, you can't say a shit about that.

When you lost yourself, when blackswan happened, you won't just lose a funded account or challenge account, you can lose a fortune.

I used to witness my broker, Alpari UK, regulated, went under due to blackswan due to a gap of 5000 pips of 2015 flash crash CHF. All clients get compensated, up to MAX 50k$, doesn't matter how much u lost in your account as capital deposited. It's CAP at 50k max. It took me 6 months to get the money back, it's painful period.

I have been trading on multiple brokers, got VIP status after reaching certain level of trading volume & money within the account. I withdrew A LOT, I lost a lot more due to reckless trading & poor self-control, bad habits, poor mentors....U name it, I endured it all. Exness VIP is just one of them, the tweet is not about that, it's just for proof lol.

What does all this mean? This means from someone who traded live account for the past 14 years, I will say simple truth is

Prop firm is FUCKING life-changing (especially for undercapitalized traders who think they can flip 10$ to 1 billion, to build real trading habits, skills). Period. No DEBATEABLE. Whatever nonsense you saw on anywhere on this planet, it's BS perspective or they never been through hells.

You gotta focus on your trading skill, that's it. All the drama is nonsense, prop firm takes a lot of risk on whatever book they're using, A book B book facebook fuckerybook, anybook, the risk is bigger than you thought.

Final message: Focus on your trading skillset, it's all that matters. Prop can come and go, but your skillset, won't ever leave you.

Get a good prop firm, go tru their rules and understand it, scale yourself up even if it means starting from $5k challenge, diversify to as many prop firm as possible, the more the better. @limitless_noman has about $7M in funding and still counting. withdraw and withdraw and build up your personal account and enjoy your life.

The highest loss I can take in a day comfortably on my 10k account is $40 and below. I felt bad the day I risked $100 and SL hit. How can someone risk $250 on a 5k account .. I'm on a 3 weeks loosing streak now and still those losses are not even up to 1% of my account. Thank God for risk management. I for don blow the account
