Kesteem:Yoruba muslims play themselves with the Yoruba first mantra. The Christians are far more organized and intentional . I've been to both osun and oyo and it surprises me that the Christians dominate politically and treat the Muslims as minorities |

Kesteem:Sharia is not something any reasonable person should clamour for. Especially here in the southwest Nothing concern Yoruba with Sharia. If you want Sharia that deprive you of your freedom, go to Afghanistan. |

Kesteem:Tell us again, how many holidays muslims get in a year? Kesteem:Since public holiday is being forced on people, why don't you call for the cancellation of muslim holidays first? Is it fair that non-muslims are being forced, according to you, to observe muslim holidays? |

OmoOgunOriginal:Even Brazil declared a national holiday for the celebration of Isese in early 2023 when the Ooni officially visited Brazil and spoke to all the members of the Brazilian Parliament. The Yoruba religion is an international religion that is practiced worldwide. What those religious bigots and creeps in Ilorin did is a violation of the constitution in Nigeria that grants freedom of association. Even the British clearly stated in the archives and history books that Ilorin is a Yoruba town. Sir Allan Burns who was the Acting-Governor General of Nigeria CLEARLY stated in his hugely popular book, "The History of Nigeria" that Ilorin is one of the 10 largest towns in Nigeria out of which 9 of the 10 towns including Ilorin are Yoruba towns. Respect for other folks' beliefs is key here. |

Ritualists sponsoring their day. Majority of us (Yorubas) ain't a part. It's not our culture but the religion/culture of traditionalists in our land. There's difference between our culture as Yoruba and religion of the traditionalist |
