I no try today atall. Had a stop hunt then I lost it thinking I will get cpi directions, I collect loss.

I hope this loss helps me stick to my plan from now. I still have not learned to to free myself from a trade. Either way, progress is made.

true bro, most times we forget that the only thing we can control is our risk, we try to use strategies and try to predict the moves but we just wear ourselves out..

when we are in a trade it's just like flipping a coin,
we get the result in less than 3 seconds

but because after taking a trade we have to wait for 3mins,3hrs or 3days we interfer with the whole process

Woow, just woow, and who says GOD isn't working, when I saw the post from @praisegod something just said I should try and give this a trial, I was never hoping to get nominated not to talk of getting picked when i know for a fact that there are better traders with vast experience than i am. I joined this beautiful family not long and in those periods I have significantly improve and still improving, I am currently up 3% in the TFT competition I was never expecting this coupled with being nominated by @info mehn..., if I can do this you can , yes you can let's just put in the effort, you will be amazed like I m now, and i am not saying I am a professional yet , infact the work has just begun, but you know that feeling when you've put in so much effort but not seeing results and you start to believe you are not gonna make it in the game then suddenly it all changes , I want to thank @info for the trust and courage to even nominate me cos I know alot will be running through his mind when he nominated me, also my thanks to the house I have learned alot from you all, picked or not, one love.

the two questions I ask myself at the end of the Trading week is "WHY" and "HOW"

why did I have a win streak
why did I have a lose streak
why did I move my stoploss
why did I increase my risk
why did I not let the trade hit take profit

how can I continue my win streak
how can I protect my account in a losing streak
how can I hold my trades longer
how do the markets look like in a lose streak
how do the markets look like in a win streak

for the past 3 months every week I ask myself these questions

it's interesting to see how I no longer ask some why or how questions anymore,,, that alone is GROWTH!!!

Please oh, on my XM demo account on MT4, I noticed that my USDJPY pair just vanished. I can't see it even when I go to add new pairs.

It vanished on Monday night, I thought it was a system glitch that'll sort itself out later, till today nothing.

Any ideas people?

I see most are in phase 1. Mehn, I am in phase 8 but no scaling yet. The reality is that 95% of us will pass through all the phases.
The painful phase is to get funded and see the $$ but not able to withdraw until acct is burnt.

We should avoid this type of news driver and always
wait for the dust to settle to see if we can see our setup(s)
to trade if we must trade in a day like today.

If no setup appears, let's close shop for the day.

is probably the fastest way to make money in forex.

What many are ignorant of is that these type of news drivers are TRAPS.

Let's trade safe by avoiding them.

Phase 8, the goal was to close the yr with $100k prop account, currently funded with $185k.Now I have moved the goal to $500k by Gods grace, it's beginning to make sense.

At this stage the emotions must be tamed. But I wonder how to tame this
self-induced hydra-headed monster?

One way I'm doing this that has be helping me to make consistent profit
is by trading demo as if it is real account and my life depends on it and nothing
must happen to my starting equity because it's my capital and and I know I can only be in
this trading business for the duration of time my capital is preserved.

Another is once I'm in a trade, I tune off my human self and switch on my robot self
until the trade goes to my target even as I take partials along or it hit my stop.
Once either of this happens, I close shop for the day.

After all robot has no emotions to display.

I've been making progress gradually doing this.
