Nononsense247:US get resources and knowledge economy. Some of the world's biggest oil and gas majors, IT companies, auditing companies, pharm and research labs, automakers, manufacturing companies, FMCG companies, airplane companies, space tech companies, and financial services companies are owned by Americans. In fact, the money the US government and companies invest in research and development, no country in the world can come close to it. There's a reason the rest of the world always waits for the US to solve global issues. |

SmartPolician:The US is the richest in the world by natural advantages like arable land and etc. Russia too is large but they have less arable land than the US. Arable land is your population potential and your population is your power and that will show clearly when taxation becomes even globally. China will top followed by India by revenue but within decades the US will catch up. |

Ethiopia which is a landlocked country has a population of ~120 million inhabitants just 16 years early in 2007 (a year after Nigeria's last census which was 140 million inhabitants) the country had a population of 73 million inhabitants, and they dont rank #1 in anything either in Africa or the world. So some folks saying Nigeria is not even 80 million are acting the bollocks πππ (same people who think Covid was fake, and the Earth is flat π€¦ββοΈπ‘π). "Numbers dont lie". |

lawani:This is because there is the enabling environment for money to be invested (and wealth to be created by the extremely productive population with a very HDI (human development index). It is this wealth that is then taxed. Vibrant economy with countless industries. You don't need to go to university to get work. Secondary school is enough! Unlike the absolute rubbish we have this country with very very few industries. Imagine Importing food, assembling food! |

AjaoEstater:So in essence with all these things you quoted (which happened in sane countries by the way), you're telling me that Nigeria's population is over 200 million and there's no scam going on with it? I salute you. |

VeeVeeMyLuv:Governments don't tend the economy as a favor and that is where we miss it in Nigeria, governments tend the economy to secure the revenue to fund budget. If revenue in January was 200, it won't reach 100 in February if no power, if there is industrial action, if there is sit at home. Therefore govts in working countries work in order to secure revenue but in Nigeria oil is the revenue and if the country is nuked revenue remains the same and that is the problem with the country. Dependence on oil money is the problem and it is how we differ from our three neighbors. A cause of the problem also is competition among sub nationalities. Then our large population can't be as productive as Germany's or Japan's because ours is full of kids. We have a high dependency ratio and our workforce is also emigrating, our scholars publish abroad and it is foreigners like Chinese Indians Lebanese that love the country more than Nigerians etc etc. The country is stuck presently and progress is hardly possible as it is |

lawani:If there is a trillion lifetime time and I have an option to come into the world as a Nigerian or Chinese, I will always choose Nigeria. China is totally oppressive and a super strict regime even worse than sharia. The reasons alot of Chinese are moving to every other countries in the world even Nigeria and multiple protests every year. I like Chinese women though ππ Note: What their doing to muslims in Northern China is so cruel it so heartbreaking (and my mum family is christian and my dad family is muslim). |

lawani:aboriginal Irish people (White Irish) think their country is the worse on earth and many of them emigrate every year. Like my mum say "we will never go hungry in Nigeria if there is a famine worldwide because we have garri" and that so true. Nigeria will always be #1 in Cassava thousands of years from now. Plus its drought-resistance. "we dont know what we got until it gone". God Bless Nigeria, Long Live Nigeria. Note: folks saying Nigeria is so bad check this website- TheJournal.ie |

AjaoEstater:Polls always show Chinese as satisfied with the CPC. Naturally because of their population, Chinese and Indians should be the number one foreigners in any country. Why will you choose Nigeria over any Western African nation not to talk of China?. Basic constant power isn't even guaranteed. What do you think China should do that they are not doing?. |

AjaoEstater:Ireland is one of the topmost immigrant worker destinations per Capita in the world. To get an Irish to leave Ireland will mean top money. It is of course possible. Ireland is also a wind power superpower with hundreds of thousands of homes powered at mediocre costs. That is something. Ireland is one of the most efficient nations on Earth. I agree that cassava is a cheap staple and that is a super power too. One of the cheapest in the world |

lawani:ππππππππππ Note: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sknXVCQTi9o (watch the video or read the comments πππππππππ) House rent here in the Federation is annually and we can also live in slums or shanty here, there house rent is monthly (even government owned houses "social houses" "council houses" and the money for monthly rent there if converted here you can have your own house or heck mansion. house rent here (depending on the state) can be (lowest price) like equivalent of 17 euros plus we also have shared accomodation/self contain "face-me-I-face you" which I am here in Osun and yearly I will be paying 6 euros ππππππ. We almost ended up in the street me, mum, brother, and sisters 9 years ago when the banks took over our house (landlord was paying mortgage to bank) but luckily got a government house and even the money you could buy plots of land here in Nigeria. Then there is Water tax, Road tax, TV License (fines, courts, pen or even police record which will ruin someone's life there cause every business small or big always vet/scrutinise for criminal/police record there unlike here were hardened felons/convicts can get out of prison and still be a CEO of Julius Berger or Mama Bisi Restaurants πππ)God Bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Long Live The Federal Republic of Nigeria. lawani:Ireland is the most expensive country in western europe (5 countries- UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Ireland) heck the whole of Europe and world. The country's unitary system (no autonomy to subnational units just one government and one capital city-Dublin instead of 37 capital cities in the Federation). Heck if someone is mentally ill or homeless there they end up in prison (I swear I am not lying or joking- people told me this information). I will reply with a comment from that same video soon. Heck food cost is insanely expensive, atleast here we get cassava which is infinitely abundant we cant drink it and we can eat it as swallow. Nigerian saying things are worst and rice price and fuel subsidy are so funny πππ. There you buy the rice there is no small cups π and you cannot buy anything on credit the person will end up in the pen (they call it theft or deception). They dont rank #1 in anything and they depend heavily on immigrants and corporate tax. |

AjaoEstater:Ireland can't be as expensive to live in as those smaller countries with outrageous GDP per Capita. The problem of the western world is not more than sovereign debt and high cost of living. Those are their issues and it will be addressed in due course of time |

SmartPolician:Even your leaders now understand that population is a problem. That's why all there policy is aimed at taxation and multiple taxation ..thisbis aimed at killing the poor and reduction of population...lots of Nigerians don't have work ...the have bills to pay ...the moment they start thinking about all this ,there health got worsen ...death us imminent ...They more the inflation the more death for the poor |

lawani:Here in the Federation we have annual rent and shared/self contain accommodation they dont have that in Ireland (like I said earlier). Funny enough, Nigeria is supposed to have the largest homeless population in the world at 24 million people compared to Ireland's 13,000 homeless people and I have yet to see a rough sleepers anywhere in Osun State which is not a rich state in terms of GDP and rank #23 out of the 36 states unlike in Ireland where there is rough sleepers everywhere even at ATMs and outside shops (even made worse with everything controlled from Dublin with the counties (equivalent to 36 states' LGAs/LCDAs). To be fair to Ireland though, Nigeria is the largest cement producer in sub-saharan africa thanks to Dangote Cement plus we have an infinite abundant of varied types of sands. Interesting enough our stock market have like 500 listed companies and the largest in west africa and second largest in africa after South Africa in terms of market capitalization while Ireland stock market is now part of the pan-European Euronext have only a paltry 50 listed companies (for people who said we have no industries). Nigeria have 10 indigenous food companies with headquarters here- TGI (Terra seasoning maker), Viju Industries (Mr V bottle water maker), Crown Flour Mill (Mama Gold semovita maker), Rite Foods (Bigi owner), UAC of Nigeria (Gala sausage and Mr Biggs owner), Nestle Nigeria, DUFIL (Indomie (white people eat noodle-inside-cup not the way we eat noodles and those are horrible)), FMN (Golden Penny maker), NASCO (cereals), and Unilever Nigeria, Ireland have none and UK only have the parent Unilever company; cheapest cigarette price in the world (I am a smoker BTW) with lowest of 0.40 euro cent for a pack of Chesterfield (which I current smoke because of the mint/sweet) Note: I am also a vegetarian (dont eat meat, chicken, or fish); We along with South Africa and Egypt dominate the fast food restaurant market in Africa- Nigeria's Chicken Republic is the largest in west africa; I dont drink alcoholic or use cannabis or any drugs but Nigeria is home to Seaman Shnapps, Regal, Chelsea, Orijin, Action Bitters while it just Guiness and generic branded ciders (all imported from Germany) in Ireland. |
