Many think China is hard to live in but the main difference between China and the US are opposition parties and because of the 'clowning' that goes on between opposition parties in the US, other non politicians join in in the free for all to abuse politicians. The main perpetrators are conspiracy theorists. This is not possible in China or even Singapore. It is not even common in Germany or Japan, definitely not in Russia not to talk of North Korea but in the USA anybody can accuse the President of heinous crimes without having any proof and it will be fair game and because this is not possible in China, many describe China as not being free enough. China is okay but they can improve the system by allowing anybody to join the party so far they are ready to pay annual dues, then allow other people to form parties for citizens to join but they should continue with no opposition in government. It must always be a government of national unity which is not different from a one party state

Before USA Muslims, controlled the world and remained the dominant power spanning 3 continents for over 700 good years. The greatest civilization that ever existed after the Roman empire. The Muslims preserved the culture they met as against the destruction that's always the norm by Persian, byzantine and Mongolian empires. Jews and christians thrived and we're protected. Lots if scholarly Jews thrived in Andalusia (spain). The Muslims invention are countless. Starting from toothbrush to universities, documentation, algorithms, decimal numbers, Firnas plane etc.

Muslims reached only where they are today. Not the whole world but they controlled trade routes. If you like progress and education, you won't oppose debates and have apostasy laws neither would you say Mohammed is last prophet (PhD) which nobody else can be and God have to always pass through Mohammed etc. The most significant thing that brought the modern system was the industrial revolution and what led to it was corporations in Britain.
