i guess in the fantasy world you live in, every adult person in Nigeria, every household in Nigeria is earning at least 15/20k, abi?!?!?
but better yet, let us foolishly assume that every adult in Nigeria is gainfully employed, and that the bottom 40% makes only 15/20k per month (aka they survive on such little amount).... are you now claiming that, if they receive an extra 8k from the gov to top up their 15/20K monthly salary, it is WRONG FOR THE GOV to give these people an extra 50% of what they are already earning?!?! really?!

BTW this is not a dikc waving contest... the amount of people i help/employ every month is irrelevant to the issue at hand.

Sometimes, i do think, APC were truly formed not to provide good governance to Nigerians but to care only about themselves.
No superlative ideas on how to ameliorate the suffering conditions of the Nigerian people. Only good in propagadas.

You know, the most ridiculous part of your argument is this idea that the govt is "helping" the poor to manage themselves. The poor are already managing. What they need is to get them out of that poverty by improving their standard of life. I don't know about you but if you're giving me money to maintain my status, you're helping me but not making my life better.

Your argument is same that was employed by those who we defending 5k in 2019. How many people have the 5k helped out of poverty? My point is 8k is going to reinforce the poverty not bring people out of it. I'd rather you use the whole 96bn to provide access to drinking water, or rural electricity, or well equipped primary health care centres, or sanitation in rural areas, or worst case use it to bring down the cost of basic foodstuffs. Those things will improve quality of life than 8k to a family of 6,9 or even 15 people.

Yes. It is wrong to give them extra 8k because it makes no difference whatsoever. Is someone who earns 23k/28k an average earner to you? That's so below the present pittance called minimum wage!! 8k sounds like the money they give the poor to buy their votes for crying out loud.

I'm not asking that question about how many poor people you know or help to measure dick. I'm asking to know if you even understand what we're talking about. How many of those who did n-power are out of poverty now?

stop believing that the gov has a magic wand that will solve Nigeria-s problem OVERNIGHT.... some people need help today, and thats what the gov is doing to help these people.



so the above will put food on poor people's table?! ask any of the poor people out there if they would rather have 8k dash or the above built in their neighborhood, and see how you would fail on this issue. saying that 8k wont improve the quality of life to Nigerians is a damn lie. many will greatly benefit from that help... especially for those making 15k every month that would now manage with 23k instead.
as much as i understand that you would rather all these people go out of poverty, remember that this is the REAL WORLD, not some fairytale imaginary world. thinking that you can solve the Nigerian poverty issue overnoght is a joke. if you think Nigeria-s problem could be so easily fixed, then you sir dont know what you are talking about.

we are talking about the gov helping the masses in need, and whether it is 8k or 100k, they are doing something. whether it is enough or not, this is not for us to judge (there are many people out there who will be glad they receive the extra gov help). whether you believe that would benefit these people or not, its all on you.

you people make no sense whatsoever when you expect the current governments in place to solve in a month what govs for the past 60years couldnt solve in 6 decades. give them time, give them a break, stop having unrealistic expectations from the gov. they are just starting, stop being greedy, Rome wasnt built in 1 month!
