I don't want to use bad words but what are you really complaining about, ok fine federal contribution but during those times Nigerian economy is mainly based on wealth we got from exporting cocoa and also palm oil, all from the western region of Nigeria, you have to understand that the western region is from kwara to Benin ( Bendel state) down to Itshekiri ( delta state) is the real southwest so most of the nations resources was coming from the western part of the country before we discovered oil. ...that's just what I'm saying bro

Ever heard of Dodan barracks?, that is the seat of the federal government.
It is located at Marina street on the Lagos Island.
The remaining land mass in Lagos today belongs to SW.
