I'll go straight to the point. 1. Nigerians seem united outside Nigeria because the tribalism card is mostly useless, especially in Europe. The only way to express this aggression is through religious differences. We all see ourselves as Africans unless the context is religious beliefs. 2. Your life abroad will be much better if you look good. People, especially Blacks and Africans don't know who is trouble or good company, so we are hesitant to mingle. Dress corporate and mature as the situation requires and help yourself be more approachable. It's a huge plus if you're physically attractive. 3. People believe Nigerians are smart, outgoing, but dubious, unlike most other Africans. They watch your every step to confirm this. Confirmation bias is real. 4. EU/ US / NATO will never wish you well. They want you to do well enough to not disturb them in their country, but they don't wish you to become equals or independent. Every aid, support and collaboration is made to achieve this imperialist goal. So, racism isn't going anywhere soon. You're the Joker if you think otherwise. 5. We are alike the non-Nigerians as much as we are different. This is true for other blacks and non-blacks. You'd be surprised by how much we have in common, but also how much we don't have in common. For example, African subtle signals like hissing, wink, nose twitch, and our "mtcheews" would confuse the hell out of most other non-blacks cultures, but most blacks would understand just fine. But just because someone is black and African doesn't mean they'll understand, agree, or even appreciate your vibe. Do you agree? Let's hear your thoughts. |

Nigerians are not United abroad. If you're not careful they'll play a fast one on you while pretending to be helping you. Stay away from most Nigerians abroad if you want a peaceful life. |

In addition.. Human beings are same whether oyibo or black. You may think that when you relocate abroad you are going to find it difficult to settle with them but there's no difference between you and them Africans pay more attention to cleanliness than oyibo especially African girls vs oyibo girls Some oyibo can stay one week without brushing his or her teeth Africa is more liveable than any other parts of the world..we have the best natural endowment Oyibo people suffer more diseases than Africans |
