This was the message I got from GTBank over a month ago but I wasn't chanced to do as requested until I'm experiencing difficulty using the old mobile app of recent

I checked my Playstore today but I was surprised to see different versions of app.

I eventually settled for GTWorld SL(pic attached).

I tried login and it requested normal card details but I have second thought, what if this is a parody version from scammers and not the real app.

That's why I brought it here for you to help out, especially GTBank users.

Which version of GTWorld are you using? Which is real?

The updated app will not ask for BVN. It will ask for the phone number attached to your account followed by your login password.

for time for where. After I impute my otp, it was asking me for bvn number. What I realized is dat my phone number I use to get alert is not inside android phone. D app did not ask for BVN number when I inserted d sim into d android phone

Use the Internet Banking platform for now. It's working and safe.

I followed the GTworld app in my phone and at some point, I was asked to enter my BVN which I did. The response is that I entered the wrong BNV. This is when I became suspicious. I hope I will not have any financial incidents in my account. See below attachment. Thanks in advance for your time and for responding.

This is strange. I logged into 3 devices yesterday and none of them requested for BVN.

Not the first time. Have been using it.

Edit: I have seen your screenshot. I think the Devs have decided to use BVN instead of phone number + OTP to reduce the waiting time.

Keep on trying with the BVN. It should log you in within 5 attempts.

Keep on trying with the BVN. It should log you in within 5 attempts.

You probably entered the wrong GSM. Check and make sure the phone number that you used is the one in your bank record.

Finally fixed it.

The issue is that the account I'm trying to log into has no ATM card.
All I had to do was print a card and the issue was resolved.
