Does APC or any group have monopoly of violence? I think white powder is affecting Pablo EscoBAT's head. If not he wouldn't have had the audacity to threaten Nigeria's existence. The documented narcotic trafficker will surely end up at the Hague.
LMAOO so you have suddenly changed from Biafra to Nigeria citizen? Hope you won’t change your mind after the tribunal verdict.

I don't even understand cos Media editors decided to put up a catchy headline... See what LP guys are putting out.. tinubu lawyer I'm closing statement at tribunal simply said prioritize Abuja votes over other states to annul the polls is a call for anarchy since it's not mandatory to score 25 percent in Abuja.. what is labour party masturbating about then..

I don't know why people are bothered about Tinubu statement. He and his miscreants won't do pim.

What they don't understand is that the mind of the people are made up for any anarchy which people like them are the target.

He stole his way into power and it must be retrieve.

We are talking about 25% in FCT, What about other states votes that was allotted to him.

His desperation would certainly ruin him.

In my years alive, I have never seen a more brainwashed set of people than the supporters of labour party.

Firstly, the problem been referred to here is the likely pandemonium the 25% in Abuja debate if ratified by the Court will create for future Elections.

> It will elevate Abuja voters above all other states in Nigeria.

> It will go against the constitution of Nigeria that states all votes cast in Nigeria are the same because it will mean casting your vote in Abuja is more important than casting it in Akure, Onisha or Kano.

Secondly, a runoff doesn't itself guarantee that the winner of the runoff will still get the 25% requirement in Abuja. So will we simply continue to go for runoffs until the winning candidate get 25% in Abuja even if he gets 25% in all the 36 states of the federation.

Furthermore, this will put a weird spotlight on the democraphics of Abuja in future Elections which might create an ugly situation. Politicians might just import people from other states to make up the 25% in Abuja which might create an unwanted national debate in the future. Tribes will begin to fight over who should be allowed to vote in Abuja etc.

In conclusion, Tinubu's lawyer in his final written argument to the judges is only pushing his legal points with real life likely scenarios that might

Excellent write-up as to picture you painted with respect to future anarchy and chaos it will cause at election periods if FCT is given special status and elevated above all the other states. That is the chaos and anarchy right there and that is what the eminent lawyer Olanipekun is alluding to which the Obidients in their shallowness or mischief twisted Now, your first sentence clearly defines who Obidients are. In fact I am taken aback that LP as a party will issue this kind is statement when clearly it is a standard court process for a lwayer to bring forth arguments or pleas before the Court so that the justices can rule in the favour of his client.

Shallow-minded views...

The US uses sundry state caucuses to select party flag bearers of the two major political parties in addition to the electoral college.

The requirement of getting 25% in Abuja in the first ballot will only consolidate our democracy so keep your narrow-mindedness to yourself.

You should go and take a more balanced look at the provision of the constitution: the 25% in Abuja requirement does not apply in a runoff...

In any case, the law is sacrosanct and must apply...

Nigeria is bigger than any desperado...

Nigeria constitution is different from the American constitution for a reason.

In Nigeria, according to our constitution all votes cast are equal.

The equality Claus is specifically to accommodate for our diverse background and protect sensitivity of the difference in our background.

Nigeria don't use an electoral college system but popular votes.

Nigeria has a federal constitution which stipulates that for a candidate to emerge as the winner in the first ballot in a presidential election, they must garner at least 25% in at least 24 states AND at least 25 percent of votes cast in the FCT.

That is the law with a manifestly unambiguous provision.

We cannot the rules of the game midway in the process....

We have to set a precedence that impunity and self-help will eventually be pushed back...
Re: LP Replies Tinubu Over Threat Of Anarchy, Reveals Next Move by Zezco(m):
The Constitution do not put a must for FCT vote but the 25% vote will be count as state vote, the court can never nullified the whole country vote, Obi and Atiku didn't meet up with criteria to become president, case close. If you know this you know peace.

So because Peter obi win 25% in Abuja make him eligible to be pronounced president without winning upto 24 states is impossible.

You were using USA party flag bearer ((primary elections) selection to compare a general election requirement. That's not right. You should compare apple to apple. In Nigeria, it is the party's prerogative how they select their flag bearer in line with their constitution. And that is by the way, it is Nigeria Constitution that will apply here and the bone of contention is the 25% vote of FCT which every sane person knows that it is absurd to give FCT special treatment so definitely the Tribunal will rule in favour of PBAT on this. Olanipekun has put forward very sound points that cannot be overlooked.

Firstly, don't think someone is brainwashed because he/she sees a matter from a vista distinct from yours.
Secondly, I believe the most useless people in Nigeria today are people like you who after 8years of buharis disastrous outing went ahead to support a continuation of APC rule again. I believe you lots are damned and have constituted a curse on the wheels of this country's progress.

So I don't care whatever your Evil party is saying or doing, time has gone when anyone can threaten anyone. Let the court sack the mandate thief first, then let there be war afterwards!
