I've gone through the deposition of wole olanipekun and I didn't see anywhere he said tinubu's Guinean citizenship expired with the expiration of his Guinean passport. The mod and the op that moved this to front page with this headline are both fools.


To the subject matter, this part of the petition is useless and frivolous. It wasn't part of the petition abinitio, it was smuggled in at the middle of trial. You can't smuggle such into the petition after the expiration of the 21days for submission of the petition. Secondly, the Guinean passport tendered is not a certified copy from the Guinean authority and it's an expired document. The evidence act is clear on the inadmissibility of expired documents in law. This matter is dead like dodo.

By the way, we're still waiting for obi and Atiku to show us in clear terms how they won this election. They're just chasing shadows with all manners of frivolities. We expected them to present to the court their own collated results different from what inec declared and back it up with evidence. Mumu people! The court should fine them for wasting our time.

The SAN is not correct. Yes the passport maybe invalid but being invalid doesn't invalidate his citizenship. Citizenship is not tired to passport. Many Nigerian citizens don't have passport or any ID whatsoever.

In court you have to show proof of your case. The PDP presented an invalid proof so the SAN is right

No country can Bar you from traveling to your parent country, unless you committed a crime in their country and needed to serve a jail term. With expired passport, you can travel to ur own country.

Presenting your expired passport is enough to send you to your country. Even an ID card is enough. I don't know if you have travelled, but I'm telling you this out of experience.

Green card holder is not a citizen of US it has an expiration date. Citizens are expected to have a passport as a means of identification also for travels. Having an expired passport does not make you less a citizen, it's renewable.
