So I took a nap and had a dream where GEJ was still the president and fuel was selling for 97 naira/litre. All of a sudden, I woke up to hear of 617 naira/litre. This is no longer funny at all ooooooooo... Judiciary please do the needful ASAP.

It's a fun joke, but back in 2011, people like you would have been complaining about how GEJ has raised prices from N65 to N97 and how that means he was evil.

GEJ raised prices, for the same reason we are now removing subsidy. The amount spent on subsidy was consuming a greater portion of our oil revenue.

Back in 2011, the joke would have been you were dreaming Yaradua was the president, or Obasanjo was the president and fuel still cost N45, or even dreaming Abacha was in charge and fuel cost N11.

Subsidy removal goes beyond politics.

Scam taken too far bro. When will the refineries be fixed? When will the new minimum wage come on board? Even the 8k will not get to all the target masses. How much is the landing cost of fuel to warrant the 617 naira/litre?

I can go on and on with all these questions. You are talking about subsidy not to be mingled with politics but when GEJ tried its removal, politics came fully and visibly at the forefront. If GEJ was allowed to remove it then, by now we would have been better of.

Yeah, if it had gone in 2011, we would have had better refineries, and so forth, because refining at home would have been profitable.

But Nigerians, as they have said many times in the past, said no.

You are demented. Better face the reality. Petroleum Subsidy is gone forever in Nigeria. You can wail from now till 2027. And yes, we will buy at whatever amount that is reflective of the international oil market until Dangote Refinery is ready for full operations.

You have just shown what you're made of, carry on with your level of IQ ooooo... A fellow who can't air his/her opinion without being insultive. I am not your class at all, you were probably not born when I carried out a research on deregulation of the oil and gas sector. I am only being humourous here, please take life easy.

You mustn't reply every quote because some of the people quoting you are kids. Their parents still provides for them. Funny enough, they don't know what their parents are going through just to put food on the table for them in this APC regime.

When GEJ left office, it was N87, not N97.

Yes that's true, at the eve of the 2015 general and precisely on 18th January 2015, GEJ unilaterally reduced the price of PMS from 97 naira to 87 naira per litre.

Let me take another nap, probably I will see 87 naira in my dream this time around grin
