I'm a single mother of two. So far, I have been able to saved 300k. My house rent of 260k is experiring next month, my first son is entering secondary school in September. I'm getting too worried on how I'm going to meet up.
I'm into buying and selling business, some times, one may not sell out for two to three months. right now, I don't want to scatter this money Incase I can't gather it back before ending of next month. I don't want to default in paying my rent. Moving to cheaper accommodation is not an option. I love this particular apartment because the environment is lovely with nice neighbors. We're like families.

Pls, what's your opinion/suggestion/advice on this?

What kind of business can you advise me to quickly do to add little profit before ending of next month, so I don't go empty after paying my rent?
What's your opinion/advice/experience on sending a 9yrs old child to a government secondary school?
Because, if I can't afford our desired private school, I might send him to government sch.

I am about to say the same thing. Anyways if your area is cool then government school should also be standard i guess.

Are you a single parent? Where's your partner? You shouldn't be shouldering the whole responsibility. That's not fair.

On your child I will advice you look for a school of yr choice and make part payments now and by August or September ending you balance up.

On rent discuss with yr landlord make parts payment 6month then 3month in the rent you settle the remain.

Then use the remain money on business

Maintain the nice neighborhood you are, living in a good supportive environment has a way of inspiring and pushing you to the top. Speak with your landlord and give him half payment first as you have been advised.
The environment is also helping your children's development. If you move to a cheaper accomodation, you still won't afford a good private school so let your children benefit from good environment. 260 for a bedroom is not bad, you and your children need space as they are growing not cramming yourselves in a self contain room. Vices and bad behavior is prevalent in poor environment, don't let you and your children lose in both ways.

Even the rich attend government schools in Abuja. Don't know which state you are, look for a good government school and register your son. When your finances improve, you can change him to a private school.

Govt school in some areas ain't that bad. I know it doesn't match up to the private school but just go ahead if it's the only option. Some govt school are a bit fair. We all attended govt school and we turned out alright. Things have changed though.

You don't always cut your Coat to Size, at times you take a step to grow into them ...
She already gave a description of her apartment and I think it is worth it. We most time blindly cut our coats and in long run we pay the negative price. Training and grooming a child in a poor environment have it's negative effects that sticks to the child.
Take your Little boy to a government school and make plans in changing his school when he gets to the second year.

Sorry but I have a few questions to ask

1. Are you a widow? If no, then why are you a single mum?
2. What do you buy and sell?
3. Is the 300k all you have home and abroad?
4. Do you have relatives in your state?
5. Which money do you plan on using to start the new business if you pay rent and use the remaining 40k for survival?

Homeschool that kid
Buy that kid a kiddies tablet and load it with educational contents


Get a job as cleaner
Apply to corporate offices for cleaning and janitor positions
You can clean personal homes too ( make that your business)

Find I face me I face you type of house and rent it
