I believe it is achievable, so every region in Nigeria can be developed. Southeastern cities can meet up with ibadan in future.

See pictures of ibadan here

We don’t want things like this in Nigeria again.

Nigeria shall be great

For that to happen, ibos have to relocate back to their ancestral lands first instead of being refugees all over Nigeria.

PLEASE GO HOME AND DEVELOP YOUR SOUTH EAST.

ENOUGH OF DEVELOPING LAGOS, KANO AND TEXAS AND CALLING THEM NO MAN'S LAND

EAST OR WEST, HOME IS THE BEST

GOD BLESS NIGERIA

This calls for critical reasoning for the concerned instead of peurile dick measurement.

Imagine an asswipe comparing Ibadan with anywhere in the SE. Same Ibadan that has the first stadium in Nigeria outside of Onikan stadium.

When Ibadan's Liberty stadium was built in 1960, the whole of the SE did not have a football field to host national tournaments

I'm talking facts here!! Liberty Stadium was the best of its time when built in 1960 and any Igbo man who came to Ibadan and saw it will think it was a giant alien ship cause they had never seen anything like it!!

As you've resorted to dragging He-gbos like generator, lemme book a space here to add fire to whatever you're tryna cook

All developmental metrics suggests that the SE is the most backward or joint most backward region in Nigeria(Along side the NE)

The SE is too homogenous, not open to foreign investment, and still experience the highest level of emigration

You cant be a great region if people keep moving away from your nation en masse

What are you really trying to achieve with this thread you corn addict. grin

A clown trying so hard to fool the gullible. 🤡

No hate or mockery but comparing Ibadan with Anambra in terms of development is like comparing Abuja and Borno state.

Picture below is picture of Onitsha, Anambra state even before the second Naija bridge was built.

Look at the picture well and see the standard structures erected by individuals so you rid yourself of yourself of the ignorance.

Ibadan

Love this city so much, so many interesting places to visit in Ibadan

Ibadan is very affordable, serene, beautiful and lovey

We can achieve same thing or even better in southeast

Re: We Can Make SE Well Developed Just Like Ibadan And Lagos by DevilsEqual(m): 4:49pm On Jul 20, 2023
Wake up Igbos, we cant continue like this

WE cant keep building others while leaving our own situation deterroriating everyday

We get maimed at home and even bullied away from home

Its a real hard knock life for an average he-gbooo cheesy cheesy cheesy

This thread is not a competition, I’m only wishing Southeast states can be as developed as Ibadan

See Anambra below, we don’t want this anymore. I love the picture you posted. If you have more, please share. We need all round development in Nigeria across all regions

This is Cocoa house not oyel house

As at the time it was completed in 1965 in Ibadan at 105meters, the tallest building in Sub-Saharan Africa, the tallest thing in the whole of Igboland was a palm tree of 35meters.

I'm spitting facts here!!

If you need a place to visit and enjoy a beautiful serene environment, no sit at home on mondays, no noise pollution or expensive city like Lagos, try Ibadan

This is Mapo Hall. A neoclassical British architecture completed in 1925. As at the time it was completed, the best architecture you could see in the whole of Igboland was a house built with raffia palms

This is Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria established as a foremost research institute for the whole of West Africa in 1964.

As at the time it was established, the whole of Igboland did not have a single laboratory

Not a competition but you had to post the bad part of the state to de-market the state.

Picture below is still the same Ibadan you are projecting as beautiful over South East. The same Ibadan we all know as the head quarters of Brown roof in Nigeria. Funny grin

Is it that you didnt see this to post that you had to drag the South East into your shit.

If you don't need insult or competition then you respect yourself else people like me will always be here to reply you, call out your bluffs and counter your deceptive statements.

Yea that’s the old ibadan, it is just a small part of Ibadan and that city was among the most developed back then.

However, ibadan is bigger than the entire Lagos and ibadan has so many beautiful places to see.

So many GRAs, well developed.

Thank you for your observation, let me know if you have any more questions

This is Eleyele dam which supplies water to the major parts of Ibadan City. It was completed in 1947.

As at that time it was completed as the second water reservoir dam in Nigeria, the whole of Igboland did not have a single drainage and drank water from streams and lakes

I have problem with the slums. Why would a small place like this won’t be able to manage their waste and have solid infrastructure?

Re: We Can Make SE Well Developed Just Like Ibadan And Lagos by francotunsco: 5:25pm On Jul 20, 2023
By far, SE is below Ibadan in terms of development and civillization. You need to be a traveller to know this. There is no part of South east i have not been to. I can tell you categorically that SE is the most backward region in Nigeria.

The earlier the Igbo's learn how to play developmental politics both locally and nationally, the better for them.

Enough of autonomous community without coherence with each other for mutual growth and development.
