God will always protect his own

My work place is at Kubwa tho
Been to Lugbe, Asokoro,Galadimawa,Mabushi

Okay been following the thread.
I also stay in Kubwa and I relocated to Abuja in 2019. I will advise you stay in Kubwa for now, since your office is in Kubwa too. Kubwa may not be as attractive as Gwarimpa but the rent is affordable and the cost of living there is average. Just ensure you get a good compound with pipe borne water.( Most parts of Kubwa enjoy pipe borne water supply from Usuma dam and it is healthy to drink).
With that being said, Abuja is the best place to stay in Nigeria. Most countries have their embassies in Abuja. There is also a huge presence of international donor agencies and NGOs that pay like crazy.

Abuja inspires you to work hard because the opportunities are everywhere. With one twist of fate, you can hit it big in this town.
Try and use bolt wherever you are going to for security reasons. If you can’t afford it, use “along” one from the park and when you get close to your destination, you can then complete your trip with a drop which is cost effective.

On relationships, be wary of both genders. Most guys in Abuja will milk you especially when they know you have a job and you stay alone. Ensure you get them tested for HIV and STD before you engage with them sexually. This is very important. A lot of people are sick in this town.

Finally, have a side income. Your job never be enough. Cook at home and eat outside sparingly. The restaurants here will charge you for their ambience and aesthetics.

Holla! Let me stop here. You can send me a mail. Who knows we could be friends.

calm down
She is currently in Abj ,that’s why she is complaining about the bolt fees.

You missed his point.

His question is must she enter bolt? When there are minibuses and taxi there

Good morning y'all..
I've been in Abuja for a month now,and I love how calm and peaceful it is especially the area I stay which is Gwarinpa, second Avenue.

Now I'm thinking of relocating from Uyo To Abuja by September this year.
I know things are expensive but I love how everywhere is calm and nice compared to Lagos where everywhere is crowdy, noisy and stuffs I can't keep up with like heavy traffic and so on

Now,Abuja based nairalanders
Is there any challenge you have living in Abuja or any regrets?

I will suggest PH, rather. A self contain at gwarimpa cost about 800k.

Secondly, there are no jobs at abuja, only government jobs.

Abuja is calm though, I once stayed at gwarimpa. Too calm and the road are so smooth, unlike Lagos. But Lagos is bae sha.

At PH bolt is so cheap, I once entered a bolt from the airport to gwarimpa, the uber guy told me he can't carry me at the rate on the app o, that I should add money.

But at pH, I entered from woji to stadium road, I was charged 1000. I was shocked.

Uyo is the worst place to stay in Nigeria.
A place where unemployment is at its peak, but cost of living very high.
Go to Abuja my dear.
The biggest mistake I made in my life was relocating from Abuja to uyo after my nysc.
It's still hurting me up till today.
we are in together bro. Coming back to Uyo after my service year was my greatest mistake in life, it is still hurting me. I remember wen I my friend used to beg me to come to lagos that I will get a Job. Now see me in uyo struggling with no Job. Uyo is the worst place for a graduate to live in.
