allthingsgood:So you mean the most nepotistic, most corrupt and most callous dictator in Nigeria history will arrest corrupt judges that do what he wants? Can you give the corrupt judgements given by the ones he illegally attacked severally? Akpan and his Akwa Ibom sister are the most corrupt judges in Nigeria but they were Buharis favorite. Another place you find the most corrupt judges is in Kano |

Does the average Nigerian know how to hold the Judiciary accountable. Does the average Nigerian desire an independent Judiciary or one under the thumb of the Executive. The answers lie in The Legislature. It is the Legislature that superintends over the Judiciary so to get an independent, functional judiciary Nigerians must insist on an independent and viable Legislature. But we are apt to place all our eggs in the Executive basket giving a typical President unlimited powers over the other arms of government so there is no modulation of governance and so we cannot complain when the accelerator says the brakes should not work when a collision is imminent. Institutions are there for a reason. We must dispose of our feudal tendencies to benefit from democracy. Democracy is not like our traditional institutions where the word of the king is law. Democracy is all about give and take, constant negotiations in conflict resoultion for the good of the citizenry. |

The suffering is still in stage 1 type 1 induced shege, by the time it goes deeper, nobody will tell you till you will enter streets to protest. Stay there and be blaming the courts |

TUTU147:This is the problem with narrow mindedness amongst a lot of Nigerians. The inability of Nigerians to get things working. The inability to repair things and get them working That there is corruption in an institution does not mean the institution is corrupt. That an institution is ineffective does not mean that it should not work. The plugs in your car are bad, you repair it. You don't sit down and say cars are bad and should not be driven. Change the corrupt fellows and move on and hold government to account. Wake up Mr. Citizen. The NLC as an institution has every right to insist for social justice for its members and the right to use every legitimate means in its charter to get it. If the Judiciary is standing in its way it will push back. |

naijabetlee:legitimacy of the election results and final decision of the election petition tribunal is paramount to stability in the coming days in Nigeria It’s largely dependent on the outcomes that is verifiable, it's fact and not a threat |

The Judges needs to seat up and the NLC needs to put fear in them by disclosing their names ,address and every details about their families. Imagine, one biased and corrupt industrial court Judge restraining NLC from going on strike. Lastly,we need Activists to lead Protests by ensuring that All major Economic Activities in Lagos,Port Harcourt and Abuja are disrupted. Lastly,APC is evil and should be jettison in the shortest possible time |

Partially true if we are to look at it from the way the court have handle the whole after math of the election matters but then on the flipside, nobody is stopping the new sheriff from not trying to lessen the burdens of the common man or can we also blame the courts for the rising cost of living, I guess the answer is No.... NLC, your brown paper bags will come handy. I |

Ogsirsolo:The past federal government appointees are they the one that remove subsidy? Or is it because they only made provision too June, but, your oga did not even wait till that June ending before the subsidy was removed . Even if budget did not cover July to December this year, why not send supplementary budget to cover the rest of the year, if they truly mean well for Nigeria, they will realize that subsidy removal without proper planning for palliative and domestic production of fuel is an act of insensitivity to Nigerians plight. |
