I think I am more worried about us without the ball. While I did not like what I saw, I am restrained by the fact that this is the first time Rice/ Havertz/Timber are playing together with the first team. I expect more cohesion as they practice more.

We can go tough in matches if we want to; we showed that in our match vs Newcastle at the end of last season.

We don't need agbereoism in this kind match wey be exhibition match. What shall it profit us to go tough in this match and 3 major players get injured to miss opening games of the league ?

You Dey underrate Xhaka. When it comes to fight, Xhaka no send anybody. He would have fingered Martinez’s eyes at least. Xhaka isn’t just a hot head, he followed through.

The money we spent on Havertz should've been spent on buying a proper striker who is imposing in the box . Smith-Rowe should'v been promoted to Xhaka role.

As for Tierney, he has no future in a team like Arsenal ; He is too one-dimensional . He just wants to get the ball, cross it or whip an unnecessary ball ahead even when he's not sure of connecting with a teammate

Reality. It's important that the players know the actual reality of their strengths and weaknesses. Winning preseason games will mask reality. Losing it exposes it.

What's the reality? Buying players doesn't guarantee success if they don't put in the shift. Having a big name is not enough if they don't work hard. I hope after this game the coach will use a big stick and hit all those big heads especially Havertz, Ramsdale etc

I also belong to that school of thought of using preseason games to try different ways of using ur teams , trying players in different positions , finding out which and which players should not be paired together on the pitch , etc.

Like this game , Having Rice Havertz and Odegaard man our midfield can turn our midfield into an express road if the coach doesn’t analyze the situation and call the attention of the concerned players to the loopholes allows opposing midfielders operate there without fear.

Martinelli too should also be chided for okaying weak ass shots when in the box instead of planting a powerful shot behind the keeper. smith-Rowe is full of life and can play the Xhaka role with fluidity . It’s obvious when we play Tiernny it is the full back on the other side that will be tasked to join attack most times cos offensively there’s still more to be desired in Tiernny’s game

Me I think he’s looking at using him on the wings in games where he needs him to operate from the wings and Havertz in central role due to his height

I no dey rate Preseason game sha but I like as dem pummel our Midfield ystdy.

The media have been forcing this Rice-Havertz-Odegaard combo on us that one will think Rice is an upgrade to Partey and that Havertz would suddenly improve on his off the ball duties (a very key ingredient to our Midfield play).

Thank goodness for this preseason against Man u and hopefully we'll meet other big teams who will have to show us What we need to know before season starts.
