Waste of time!

No going back!

Tertiary education is not for all. Only those who can afford it should be in the university.

If NANS needs bribe, they should come out clear, instead of using protest to threaten the government.

It’s glaring that, if Nigerian universities want to compete and attain standards, the government can NEVER fund it.

My dear igbo people, make una no follow go protest! The ewedu people should go and do that. During the time of GEJ they protested, during the time of Buhari; they locked up and now they want to drag you people. Don't ever join them but use that time to either rest or go home to join your family.

Call it anything! That’s the way forward.

The Government can NEVER fund tertiary education to standard. If you want quality, be ready to pay for it.

You're a very stupid person for saying that education should be only for people who can afford it!! Infact you are an idiot!!

Any mod that supports this stupid comment can ban me for all I care, but why is nairaland full of insane people these days?
Yes! Tertiary education should only be for those who can afford it. It should not be a freebie. Quality and standards come at a cost.

When serious people want to protest, they just go ahead and protest. They don't hold press conference first and threaten to protest. These ones are a bunch of unserious clowns

Nigerians and hypocrisy.

You suddenly stopped referencing your regular go-to countries like UK, US, Canada and Australia just because their citizens pay to access education.

You become an emergency friend to the Scandinavian countries. Pele o, ore Finland and Sweden. grin

Everybody wants global standards of education, but still wants to be paying paltry sums for it. Guys, we can't have it both ways. We have to find an alternative ways to fund our tertiary education in Nigeria.
Now, I'm just not saying the government should stop subsidizing tertiary education just yet, since it's practically impossible to get a decent job with lower qualifications in Nigeria, but then I believe we can't be paying 20k per session only to complain about the standards.
Quality education comes with a price.
Those with higher qualifications have not gotten any job either.

NANS shouldn't involve Yoruba students in their nonsense protest o.

Yorubas now have their son in aso rock and the Yorubas are enjoying big time because of this.

They now get free fuel and free foods in any part of Nigeria. In fact, Yoruba students are enjoying free education. All they need to do when they go to the market is to tell the sellers that they are Yorubas and the free foods will start rolling in.

All the noises those useless Ipob People are making is because they are not enjoying Tinubu's government like the Yorubas.

The NANS excos must be those Ibo boys that want to stop yoruba enjoyment under Tinubu government because their own son is not president. Nonsense Ipob People
Your sarcasm is top notch.

They even went to swap pictures in Aso Rock to celebrate their boundage.
Those old fools parading themselves as NANS excos should be ignored 💯. They bear no semblance of students at all.

What standard are you talking about. You all talk but know nothing about what you talk. Nigerian students after studies here always leave the country to other so called better places and doing better. Cozy class room is not quality education. If you ask nicely I will tell u why we always do better. See, the quality is what the government wants to kill and exchange it for ac class rooms and painted walls. Most Government secondary schools still produce the best students, go and find out despite all the big money paying schools around. Please try and find out the true meaning of quality education
