chidiokay: Yes, the North can put measures to stop a southerner or an Igbo man from winning FCT but I can't see any measure they can institute that will stop a popular southern candidate from getting 25% votes in the FCT. FCT is Middle Belt not Core North. Both the indigenes and residents do not subscribe to Core Northern values. The Core North can never arise to take back Abuja because they never owned it. 1 Like |

If someone won all the 36 States in Nigeria without winning in Abuja, he is going nowhere This is very funny. 1 Like |

Kennydoc: Are you insinuating Tinubu is not southerner or he is not popular enough lemme refresh your mind a bit, that man remains the only politician relevant from 1999 till date, IF Tinubu can lose FCT any southern candidate that thread his path can lose as well The culture and tradition in abuja reflects Northern values, even in dressing and language, they no just carry religion for head like other places in North. Abuja was given so it can reclaimed, 80% of Abuja is from Niger state, so who get Abuja now ??

Abdul4trust1:tell us what you already know that we dnt know, re you saying abuja will be changed to a state, or the constitution will be changed which one??which ever one it will be changed to conform with what agbado president got in abuja, are you saying it’s the right thing?? you must have 5credits including English language , if you like have 7credits without english , you did not meet the requirements , common sense is not really common. 1 Like |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Abdul4trust1(m): 8:29pm On Jul 23, 2023 |
Jlow2:This your analysis is very laughable. Take a look at this "2/3 of all the states and FCT is describing the whole of Nigeria that is the sample population where 25% is required. All the States and FCT is the totality of Nigeria. Nigeria is made of all (36) states and FCT. There is no comma before the AND (and), as such the rules apply at once to what has been described. If there was a comma before the AND (, and), the rules will apply individually firstly to all the states, and individually secondly to the FCT. The comma being absent means the (all states and FCT is together as one description of Nigeria)". |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Jlow2: 11:29pm On Jul 23, 2023 |
Abdul4trust1:so you mean it’s 2/3 in 37 states? “And “ is there because fct do not have same status as a state, that’s why it has not governor, you te the one that is laughable, even tinubu in his final address through his lawyer said the election should not be cancelled because he did not make 25% in abuja, so why crying more than the bereaved? He admitted he did not get 25% in fct, |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Abdul4trust1(m): 6:13am On Jul 24, 2023 |
Jlow2:the election should not be cancelled because not scoring 25% in FCT cannot invalidate the election. Meaning scoring 25% of FCT is not compulsory. I hope you understand his argument now? 1 Like |

Pauladex: .... and you want that constitution be amended now because of Tinubu? No matter how unreasonable a law is, you don't amend it in a serious situation like this. You make use of all that the law stipulates and ask for amendment later. We should stop twisting laws to suit us. I hope you'll not cry when an existing laws are twisted to nail your own person? |

richidinho:The same Northerners that tries to install parallel traditional rulers in all settlements in the FCT? Guy, they now have Sarkin Bwari and he's the one recognized by the government ahead of the Sagwari. We've noticed a high inflow of northerners in to the FCT. If they have to do it for political gains, you guys won't see it coming. If you think people who import Nigeriens to register as voters are incapable of having at least, 30% of voters population, then you're not serious. |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Jlow2: 5:42am On Jul 25, 2023 |
Abdul4trust1:if some one is disqualified for drugs money forfeiture and no traceable primary and secondary school result, you think he will be in the ballot for rerun, that’s why he is threatening anarchy , that’s why a criminal like asari will go to aso rock stand on the coat of arm and insult Nigerians, that’s why he can show Ak 47 and assault rifles on live tv, with his gangs threatening Nigerians and nobody has arrested him, but the masses protest rightfully and peacefully the send soldiers to shoot at them, that criminality and rascality must stop, nobody including agbado or asari is above the law or constitution. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Rolings: 5:52am On Jul 25, 2023 |
Kennydoc: They Can. The indigenous gwari people are known to shy away from modernization hence when the government relocated them from the site of the present FCT and build houses for them at selected locations they simply moved further inside the bush abandoning the houses and selling their lands. If the core north wants to take over Abuja it will use different means to cajole the indigenes that it's in their best interest to sell Abuja to them and if that didn't work instigate crisis |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by aswani(m): 7:16am On Jul 25, 2023 |
Jlow2: I agree about the criminality you listed having to stop. We must also ensure that the ones perpetuated against our brothers, sisters and children under a "sit at home" Order in the South East must also stop. We shouldn't be selective in that regard. Per Primary and Secondary school results, even Peter Obi hasn't challenged that so the Tribunal cannot deliberate on it. And of course, a Forfeiture in the US is not a conviction or Fine so that is also not a basis for disqualification. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Jlow2: 8:54am On Jul 25, 2023 |
aswani:I dnt support criminality of any sort, any one found wanting should be brought to justice, in fact shot at sight if found with assault rifle, police and army re in south east countering the sit at home criminality, but I have not seen the police ask asari who gave him or what he was doing with all those assault rifles, he is not a police , military or any law enforcement agent, so what right does he have? Common sense will tell you it’s because the can be standing on the coat of arm and insult Nigerians or tribes he wants because he is supported by agbado, also the judiciary is one of the biggest problems of Nigeria, it’s shameful even the western world re the ones helping us out, Lawal and akpabio did not participate in senate primaries but won the election, uzodinmma came 4th in an election but declared winner, even if votes in other polling units were counted uzodimma was not the only person voted in those polling units, the Supreme Court did not tell us in numbers how many votes uzodimma got in those polling units and the one other candidates got that made him winner, all this judges has been blacklisted from entering America, just like the charges of emeifele posssesion of single Barrel gun and ammunition, and you think they re fighting for you and me, what all what emeifele did that was the charges agbado govt took him to court for, common sense will tell you it’s because the cashless policy of emeifele made vote buying impossible, and inec rigging visible, Obi is not in court because he thinks agbado will be removed but to expose the criminality and rascality of inec , which anyone with common sense and not blinded by ethnic and tribal sentiments can see, I dnt care who is president if things re going fine, but a man with a lot of negative baggage is the worst of it all, from educational backgrounds to drugs, corruption etc, the society you abuse today will take its revenge on your children 2moro |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by aswani(m): 9:23am On Jul 25, 2023 |
Jlow2: Your post is a tough read as you have no paragraphs but regarding the above, vote buying was still possible because people were still receiving alerts. Emefiele and Bubu's canal were wicked to the extreme in forcing out their Ill thought out policy. Maybe you are not in Nigeria or read or see the suffering that people went through but never again should POS operators, in connivance with bank workers, blatantly be ripping people off because of a policy that the people that issued it didn't prepare for. In the end, the courts had to step in to save the ordinary people and let the old currency still be used. |
