In western culture all religions, religious figures etc are caricatured and mocked. Sometimes by cartoonists, sometimes by comedians. And the people who are made fun of simply brush it off. But the moment anything related to Islam is mocked the hyperventilating starts. The heathens insulted us! How dare they! We will deal with them!

The irony is that Islam automatically insults or denigrates other religions. Surathul Fathia expressly says jews are cursed and Christians are astray. So any prayer that is broadcast with a speaker has words in Arabic that are saying Muslims are on the right path the favoured path, unlike those cursed jews or those strayed Christians. I am paraphrasing, but read the translation of Surathul Fathia for yourself.

The summary - do not live in a place where Islam is dominant. It is bad enough when you see minority Muslims acting out in France or Germany. Now imagine what they would do if they are in the majority. Anyway, no need - we see it play out in the North all the time.
