Believe me, it hurts yorubas more. Like I told you, the type of bile we expected after the presidential elections was much more, and most of us has adjusted our plans to accommodate the backlash of voting our brother, after having voted for yorubas, fulanis, ijaws, fulanis and finally when we voted for our brother, we were vilified!

Can you imagine that?

The real losers are those yorubas being called up to beef up lagos, to form touts, crooks and generally cause havoc on the lives and businesses of others who live in lagos and other places.

The lives of these young men have been ruined forever, they didn't complete schooling, they didn't learn any trades, they have no morals or manners, they are just barefaced crooks roaming around to enforce a non existent tribal agenda wrongfully issued by losing politicians.

I really cry for these youths fighting Hardworking people.

On the same nairaland, many igbos (for real: I mean many igbos in reality) have been very good to me, they have helped me without considering the tribal war between the two tribes, those igbos I truly commend them.

My fellow Yorubas have been of great favor to me, so many many many and many more likewise other Nigerians on nairaland.

For this reason, today being 24/July/2023 will be the day I will no more engaged in tribal conflict not engage people with insults on nairaland. Good & helpful people are much on nairaland and as someone who is growing, conflict can't help me.

I don't understand the OP? A leopard does not change its colour and a full grown adult can never never change.
It's only a mumu person that will loose guard when someone says he has repented.
For anyone to intentionally be very tribalistic or hateful, such person still has such attitude in him/her.

When it comes to tribalism on this forum I only ever defend Yorubas when online Igbos attack and I only use logical points to defend not just insults. No matter what is being posted about Yorubas Igbos would always interfere and insult us while I barely care that much about them. The most tribalistic are IPOBs

Oga, that's a lie. What happens those days was a steady attack on Igbo cultures and traditions by posters whom I suspect were sponsored to whip up Igbo sentiments. I even think it benefitted this forum financially.

Igbos were the only people that will reply your lies and correct the information. You guys were trying to rewrite our history right before us and we all fought back and insisted on what we know to be true. At a time when it became clear that we couldn’t be intimidated, you all started throwing insults, thank God for great people like Onlytruth and that other very old doctor. They were fantastic here.

What is happening now is still a continuation of that past, you guys wake up in the morning and create threads against the igbos, propaganda topics and hate filled threads to bait us with lies and disinformation. No problem between Igbo and Yoruba. Know this and know peace. The problem is Divergent human views, thoughts as expressed by their actions, inactions and reactions. I have seen two Igbos in vicious and deadly fights, I have seen two Yorubas that almost fought to death but hardly have I every seen Igbo and Yoruba in a fight. Disagreements? Yes, tension? Yes, hot vituperation? Yes, but fisticuffs? No. Very rare.
