What I don't understand is , the Law lecturers teaching law students to become Lawyers in the various Universities are members of ASSU .

How come ASSU couldn't get professional legal advice and still went ahead to sue Non Existent bodies which haven't been cloaked with the garments of Incorporation ?

Lemme not even talk about the 3rd ground of misspelling , shows that many of her personnel are outdated and not competent.

That's why not everybody is privilege to go to higher institution especially University. It's so even in the U.S.A. last last everybody will find their level, which fits their finger.

And these are the ones training our law students and others. Very clumsy set of people. Rotten dead woods. Is there any wonder why their products are not employable?

One thing Ngige did that I liked . ASUU almost turned to a political party during campaign 2022 nice curtailing.
Two associations in Nigeria were strong NMA and ASUU.
The question you should ask is Why?
And why does the FG hate the two so much.

Some people want situations where NO ONE is able to challenge the Government for any wrong doing.

Nigerians will suffer these together!

ASUU became political last year with NLCThat’s the consequences of meddling with politics.

NLC is not a political party.
ASUU had always fought it's own battles without recourse to NLC because NLC is easily bought.

A professor earns approximately $500 per month and they are expected to produce the same output as a professor in Europe or America earning between $7000 - $9000 per month. Should they keep quiet about this?
Research equipment is a drop in a bucket in Nigeria compared to where the state of the art equipment for research are: and you say it is good that ASUU is clamped down?

Now that ASSU is broken, what Advantages is that to the Lecturers, the students and the Nation?

With subsidy on education removed lecturers will barely go on strike . How can a student pays less than $65 per session and expect lectures to earn $7k-9k like their foreign colleagues?
Nigeria Government is bad no doubt but we the citizens don’t appreciate anything especially subsidy for fuel , education and health .
With division of ASUU it’ll be hard for any politician or political party to buy the whole lecture unlike when they’re all in one Umbrella.

God will punish you. You're an idoit, because you enjoyed almost free education you open mouth wahh.. you don't know the pain I feel in my heart
That pain you feel in your wicked and hating heart will surely kill you. There's no redemption for your soul. You opened your mouth and wished another human being evil, a person who doesn't know you from Adam. You shall not end well. With their own hands will your father and mother bury you and they shall pine in hopelessness in the twilight of their miserable days.

My problem is that we ALWAYS excuse the failure of the Governments who mismanaged our economy that from the creatioypf the Naira till date we have had N0. 70 to $1.00 in the 1970s to N850.00 to $1.00 in 2023.

We never see it as failure of Governance and we are quick to point fingers to the workers whose salaries are being devalued by the day

Do you think it makes sense to pay a professor of a Nigerian University less than $500 per month?

Is the Income of your senators at par with income of Senators in America or Canada?

The structure of ASUU and NMA does not allow it to be financially compromised. Why?
The excos CANNOT take decision on behalf of the chapters
Each chapter must vote on any decision to be taken, the results collated and counted. The excos just follow what the Congress has decided. This is why it is impossible to bribe the ASUU excos.

I don't have any problem against removal of the non existent Subsidy. I have problem with people who don't understand the economy thinking that adjustment of monetary and feascal policies are enough to revive our economy. We are repeating the same mistake over and over again.

This policy at best will provide plenty of loose cash for government to spend and nothing more

I get your point I never exonerated the government bad leadership killed Nigeria gradually And discovering oil was a major cause that rendered other sectors redundant which created jobs and made the Naira stronger . After the military did their Abracadabra OBJ had the opportunity to turn things around as the new Face of Democracy but he ushered the country into another round of corruption.

His selfish third term Agenda made those men in Agbada in NASS started collecting Jumbo pay which is bitting on Nigeria’s economy. Who’s going to reduce the salaries of the NASS ? The president cannot try it or he’ll face impeachment and some people will support his impeachment because of hatred even if he’s doing it for the masses .

Truth to be told FG cannot sustain subsidies on everything but if we’ve had a good government infrastructure that’ll create employment would’ve been in place that’ll create employment and give the average citizens purchasing power to pay for almost everything or sustainable loans that’ll be available.

Nigeria couldn’t keep on borrowing to pay NASS, Subsides In education , power , and transport. The only way people will have a sense of belonging is when the minimum wage is increased to an extent and security guaranteed that’ll enhance agriculture and make things affordable. The civil society should protest NASS jumbo pay instead of fighting for subsidy removal.
