God When?

Before you quote me ignorantly remember

The millitary built 4 refineries, the democratic govt built none

99.9% of our national assets were built by the millitary but sold by the democratic govts

They conducted the most free and fair elections in the country but our democratic govts are struggling to conduct just one that is acceptable by the people

In the 8yrs of his millitary regime, Sani Abacha never exhibit any element of nepotism in him, when he wanted to create states, he did it in all the zones of the country

He built hospitals in every state of the country

Go to Abuja and ask, his footprint is everywhere
These are facts but another fact is no individual freedom
No freedom of speech
No freedom of the press
No freedom of dress code( no dreadlocks.no tattoos,no navy blue, army green or white on white.
No driving of cars painted in military colors except you are one.
It’s then you will understand the meaning of unknown soldier.etc

Sami Abacha was definitely 10x better than any of these useless leaders we’ve had since. I’m sure the British killed him and installed this devil Buhari. Pathetic

Muhammad Buhari, how market now? You deliberately tried developing Niger so can retire there if Nigerians give you any wahala. Are you still relocating?
If you have 2 heads go to Katsina state & disturb him, then you would realize how oblivious you were to have taken a sarcastic joke for weakness.

People like you are still suffering from colonial mentality, and the sad irony is that you constitute the majority in Nigeria, that is why the democrazy we are practicing in Nigeria is on its knees today.

But the so called champions of democracy
Are they doing better?

They have corrupted everything

Corrupted even the judiciary

They are a law to themselves

This coup breeze blowing around Africa
Nigerian politicians better sit up

What present Nigerian politicians are doing
What Shagari and his crew did from 1979 to 1983 is a child's play

Still the military removed them

To mitigate and escape horror
Rule of law must be respected by these politicians

Corruption in high places must have a serious repercussions and consequences

Then lead the coup na, wetin dey hold you?

Abacha did very well as Head of State but he looted a lot. A lot of people will condemn his lootkng act, but the fact people were not too hungry, he reduced our debt by 40% and also maintaind dollar rate during his time. We need someone like Abacha or Yar'adua this present day

You sabi.
African countries for the past few years have wisened up and getting rid of the colonialist. Rather they are embracing, Russia, China, turkey and other mutually benefiting countries. Countries like China that needs resources Africa has, but making sure Africa benefits through things like infrastructure, factories, trainings, education. Paying a fair price.
Russia too is providing security the colonialist eluded African countries, because it favors colonialist for instability to be there. Example is Mali that has fought radical Islam for a while with French troops yet no progress until the Russians came in.
As usual, the west will provide training for African troops as a means to have a Trojan horse to use when they wish to overthrow a sitting government.

please i lived through the military regime as an adult NOT a kid and i can tell you that the worst military regime in Nigeria (Abacha) was nothing close to what we have seen under Buhari and Tinubu in terms of horror and insecurity

Under IBB and Abacha, i could travel from Lagos to Kaduna, at 10pm at night by road and expect to reach my destination in one piece.

Today i could be kidnapped even before I get to Ibadan from Lagos … I could be robbed or shot just for traveling within my country by road.

Under the military - Nigerians could sleep with their eyes closed - today no one can sleep with their eyes closed!

Think about what you just read!

Military rule started on this note back then, civilians were egging military guys "To do something!"

Abeg be quiet. Colonialist did a far better job ruling Nigeria. I’d much rather have a white supremacist with morals ruling Nigeria than the amoral thieves and criminals currently ruling the country.

Nigeria will be a wasteland once these useless Africans are finished with it. Nonsense!

And sadly despite the horrific situation, many foolish and tribalistic Africans will support it because they love to suffer at the hand of their brother. Look at the north for example. Nothing but suffering yet they support the useless leaders

Armed robbery was a thing under army rule, as was , sometimes kidnapping. And during the 1980's there was one long issue of religious riots one after another...and the usual tribal issues.(ESPECIALLY in the North)

I could even argue that the kidnapping we have now is unfinished business from army rule...they did not diversify our economy (we became more dependent on oil under army rule, and more import dependent), and they did not aggressively deal with educating the large mass of youngsters being born.

(Civillians too did nothing).

Reuslt...the crisis we have.

which military rule are u talking about ?

the one in your dream ? you are crazy

the only thing the military were accused of

was high handedness not indecision

little kid - if you don’t know ask elders like me

to tell you what’s up don’t talk anyhow here

under Abacha? who born dog - he will

round up all the leaders of the uprising

and execute them before even anyone will

know that they were arrested

Unfinished business of the military era ?
you say ? guy just shut up if you don’t know what you are saying

Zango Kataf uprising ? go and read what happened - the leaders were rounded up and sentenced to death within months and that was the end of it

I ask again - who born dog to do kidnap anyone under military regime ? if we were under the military - Evans the kidnapper would have been killed already by firing Squad at bar beach within 3 months of his arrest

in ogoni land before anyone could cause trouble saro was executed and body dipped into sulphuric acid

guy even this your jagaban tinubu that is behaving like lion today fled on foot through seme border - he couldn’t wait for abacha to swallow him alive

guy behave ooo don’t talk nonsense here

yes the military was bad because it was not a representative government but insecurity was not a reason for the criticism of the military
today no one can sleep with their eyes close

give me the military regime so at least i can groove as i like and drive home at 1 am in the morning with no fear of kidnapping

Dear Seun and moderators.

I think it is high time you dealt with the tendency on this site for people to be abusive to people they disagree with....like this member calling me crazy, when I did not abuse him, and in fact just made a comment disagreeing with him.

There is something wrong with this site when all people do is be abusive towards others for no good reason.

And to you that I am responding to @okuta007

Because you think I am crazy, therfore any further communication with you is pointless.

I did not abuse you, I was as polite as I could be, and I don't know why you decided that I should be called crazy.

Good evening, and have a good day.
