For a country suffering from unemployment at around 33%, it's a shame that is what Dangote could come up with.

Did they start the refinery last year?

We just keep deceiving ourselves in Nigeria. The struggle is between the poor, victimised class and the political and economic elites that keep exploiting the people.


As much as I would blame Dangote and his model, it will be insincere to exonerate the Nigerian government. It's just sad we don't have true leaders.

Refining oil must be very hard. Very very hard. It is the only explanation as to why a country like Nigeria still sells crude oil to then go and buy refined oil decades after independence.
