BlueRayDick:I get boss. Infact that was part of our recent argument here concerning the youngsters. For a secretive coach like Arteta, we fans will need to calm down. |

Roland17:From what I read somewhere Balogun refused to played any other position apart from CF. He is bad energy and so was kicked out. |

BlueRayDick:He is like Pep. They believe in total control. Well I like it sha. It's that fear of the manager that made the likes of Ferguson, Arsene, Mourinho, and Pep successful. If your player can not listen to you, he is not your player. |

iamoyindamola:Lol.... Na the matter wey you wan hear be this, so I'm not surprised you jumped into believing it. Afterall, you've been looking for anything, no matter how small, just so you would believe Arteta is lying in that quote Spy read something "somewhere", no link, no reliable source, no nothing. Who knows, maybe it's one stupid blog that's just carrying postulations about things but somehow you just latched onto it and concluded that Arteta is lying. Like the famous Madonna once said : "you only see what your eyes wants to see" |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 4:08pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
Jodera:Yes because arteta ain't innocent either He should grow balls and stop hide and seek method So to your own eyes person way get foot injury they train na injury oo not recovering |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 4:23pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:How do you know he's not innocent? And even if he is guilty of what you're accusing him of, does he owe the press anything? Same Press/media that can overblow anything and everything? You think we're in an ideal world? C'mon! As for Balogun, on Monday he was made to train separately with a one on one trainer. I don't think this is anything new or sinister cos most arsenal players went through this drill eg Martinelli to improve his game. After the training, Balogun even posted a diamond emoji in an arsenal shirt.(This was someone who was KICKED OUT, according to the "somewhere" read by Spy) Another thing I noticed is that Rice wasn't available and the excuse given by Arteta is even more ridiculous if you look at it through "the Balogun lens". But guess what, that didn't cause any doubt because obviously, to you, there's no issues between Rice and Arteta. Using Rice excuse and relate it to Balogun own, don't you this is just your false assumption playing tricks on you? |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 4:39pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:I'm calling a spade a spade. I don't think you're. I posted 2 confirmed quote from the direct source, but you chose to believe a source from "somewhere" just because the "somewhere" validated your opinion on what was going through your head without finding whether it's true or false. |

iamoyindamola:Yes na. Is this the first time you'll be hearing about injured player training? Abi no be same Zinny I tell you deh train away from the team too? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 4:48pm On Jul 27, 2023 |

iamoyindamola:Yes na... Do you know the extent of the foot injury? Do you know whether it's light training he's undergoing? |

Jodera:I don't know about what @Spy360 said but below are credible sources supporting the fact that Balogun is now training separately because he is about to be sold. https://theathletic.com/4717350/2023/07/24/folarin-balogun-arsenal-training/ https://metro.co.uk/2023/07/25/folarin-balogun-training-alone-as-arsenal-seek-50m-for-inter-milan-target-19186428/ https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/transfer-incoming-usmnt-folarin-balogun-trains-separately-arsenal-squad-us-tour/blt693a3de2b204b049 |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:12pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
Roland17:I just read all 3 sites and while they all corroborated to the fact that he trained away from the first team (which we all know), none was really certain that the reason why he trained away was because he wanted to be sold. All they were just doing is speculations. Same thing most of us did here. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 5:44pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
Jodera:But you want us to believe an injured player is training alone with injury 😂 |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 5:45pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:To your question? Yes... If a player has a slight injury. To prevent aggravation, he would need to train alone to avoid physical contact. In Balogun's case, his training may not even require kicking the ball. Just conditioning drills to stay in shape. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 5:52pm On Jul 27, 2023 |

Xavi: "I understand that everyone wants to win, but I told Arteta that it looked like a Champions League match. The intensity that they put was too high." When did Xavi turned to cry baby? Barcelona is my second team but I don't even have an iota of confidence in his ability. Araujo's rough challenges on both Havertz and Jesus Roberto kicking Trossard deliberately in front of Xavi himself Balde not kicking the ball out when Saka went down. Who was more intense abeg? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 6:05pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:Did you read what you quoted? I clearly mentioned conditioning and staying in shape. Training may have nothing to do with the injured part of the body at times. And if it has something to do with the injured part, it will be a form of assessment to determine the extent of the injury. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 6:05pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:He is not the only one training alone na. You just dey forget Zinny ![]() |

Jodera:None of them also speculated that he was training alone because of a foot injury. He was an unused sub against United and there was no report of an injury. We know there have been serious inquiries about him over the last week, so it makes sense to argue he is training away from the team because of his impending transfer, especially when you consider Arteta's history on how he handles transfers with our young players. Also, remember, no player is 100% healthy so it is easy for coaches to use minor or small pain as a front to keep a player away from playing instead of an impending transfer in this case. In the NBA, coaches use small injuries as excuse to rest players. |

Jodera:I actually have the belief that if we find a way to break Barca’s counter attacks , we will beat them silly in any competitive match ( UCL inclusive ). We have the players and the team spirit to get the job done . We just need everybody to be at their A-game and we will eat them out |
