garfield1:in these context those names you mentioned are known for their politics rather than what they achieved in coperate or any technical field, I don't think anyone have ever achieved anything worthy in any specialized field,I wouldn't call them technocrats, if I should call them technocrats then almost all Nigerian politicians are technocrats then. |

But some of them are doing well in their field like El-rufia when he was minister of FCT, he did well, Wike did well as Governor of River state, David Umahi as Governor of Ebonyi state, did well and Olubunmi Ojo (BTO) from Ondo state did well as house of representatives member e.t.c |

citygarden:I know you probably hear this all the time but Lagos my friend? is a no man's land. It's a freestyle land that belongs to everyone and no one... There is no such thing as lagosians, the people that happens to find themselves in Lagos today do not truly or genuinely have the needed sense of "This is our father's Land" the same way as the people found in Ekiti, Anambra,Zamfara or Edo State. So that's why there is no one to complain about this nomination. It's simply just the "truth... But if you by any chance feel offended by that truth it only makes it a "bitter truth" and nothing less... You are not smarter or more experienced than Bola Ahmed Tinubu a "Lagosian" himself. As rich as Lagos is.... Yet he is not bothered atall for not including any Lagosian. Cos no tribe in Nigeria is emotional connected enough to Lagos to actually go to war on her behalf. Well except online soldiers fighting hard to claim a city that was built and developed with federal money... A city that the self acclaimed lagosians have only less than 20% total investment in. |

garfield1:Very good but some people will still come to condemn it because they are not the one given out the list! To the Appointed Ministers: 1- get to the Root of the Problems/ Challenges in that Ministry and put round peg in there! Work tirelessly and let Nigerians see your Work. For instance- Mrs Akiyuli of the blessed memory - was only a Director of NAFDAC but the Pharmaceutical Sectors felt her impact as she stood against Drug lords and Fake Products! 2.Don't go there to Embezzled or Corrupt the place and but rather, fight the Corruption in that your Sector- for the sake of the Future Youths and Nigeria as a Nation! 3.Let all Nigerians see how many Youths your dept/ Ministry has Employed, from time to time. 4-Don't bring in Tribalism, and Ethnicity- work for ALL Nigerians, like the American do for their Country! 5-Let the New Nigeria Starts With You! It is well with my Country Nigeria! |

citygarden:Is there any state that will not be represented according to the constitution? Do you intend to manufacture another constitution? It is in the appointment of aids and assistants that you know what is the full meaning of marginalization, not in ministerial position which the constitution made mandatory that all states must be represented at the Federal Executive council. |
| Re: Ministerial Nominees And Their States Of Origin by Shattuck(m): 9:06pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
garfield1:he has served as a minister before, even though that does not diminish his achievement in private practice, as for Doris anite she has worked in the financial sector and also served as a commissioner under hope uzodinma, I guess that was her link into the ministerial list, and not because of any outstanding achievement or knowledge, I am not saying these guys aren't ok, it is just that before now the hype was just too much with the whole "he is going to appoint technocrats" I don't see any difference in his appointment with whatother past Nigerian leaders have done that's all. |
