As minister the politician is more visible. But as senator, its dead end. Politician is less seen and less popular. Hence politician prefer being minister. |

Re: Sen. David Umahi Resigns From National Assembly To Take Up Ministerial Job. by HussenAdul: 5:53pm On Jul 28, 2023 |
Senator is more superior to minister. Senator is an elected position while minister is an appointed position. Appointed positions can be easily be remove and replaced by some other person by verbal pronouncement. While elected positions cannot be removed without court order |

There is no stollen mandate anywhere Oga. I'm from South/South. Tinubu won the election squarely. If the election had held in December or January this year, Labour wouldn't have had up to 3million votes. Tinuble would have won before 2pm of the election day. The Cashless policy and scarcity introduced by Emifele and Buhari was responsible for the 6million votes Labour party got. Because lots of people voted out of frustration in favour of opposition. It is time we stopped deceiving ourselves. |

I keep telling my friends from the Obidient side of this game that politicians that are into the know-how of the game are either resigning or sacrifice their political positions for the Asiwaju project. Some examples are: 1. Like after studying the Nigerian political terrain, decided to risk it for PBAT. 2. Gbaja dumped his reps stuff, Ahmed Lawan is seriously fighting for a ministerial slot that'll be accrued to Gombe state, Umahi is following suit even the American Pate resigned too the list goes on. Now tell me, who would ever resign from his/her well paying job if there's no job security in their next assignment? Get it today, PBAT is here to stay at least for the next 8 years. Shalom. |
