Russia funded, armed and trained the ANC in their struggle against apartheid South African regime while America and its western counterparts gave their full support to the apartheid regime. When Patrice Lumumba was killed Soviet Russia denounced the West and honored him by introducing a postage stamp with Lumumba's picture on it.
