These people have a way of painting everyone bad. The container was headed to a particular country but, they rather chose to say 'West Africa'. What is the intention of not to paint every African as a criminal? State the destination country in the manifest and go after the shipper to capture the syndicate and stop this sensationalism and stereotyping of Africans. Sadly, the so called 'leaders' are the causes of these. They steal the country blind and stash in these foreign countries and leave the people poorer each day. That's why they cannot stand to protect and defend the rights of their citizens because, they have skeletons in their cupboard and don't want to be exposed or their properties abroad siezed so, they will always play second fiddle to their fellow leaders from other countries. |

Grace001: Lanretoye: hakeemhakeem: Low-esteemed self-haters,… It’s NOT a solely Nigerian thing. Scores of cars stolen in the US, Canada and the UK ended up in Ghana (see links).. In addition, stolen cars have been found in Senegal. Sierra Leone, etc., and even Morocco. https://digitpol.com/stolen-vehicle-recovery-west-africa/ https://www.modernghana.com/news/1225307/if-you-own-any-of-these-95-luxury-cars-eoco-says.html https://myjoyonline.com/stolen-luxury-cars-to-be-shipped-to-ghana-intercepted-at-ports-of-new-york-and-new-jersey/ > 1 Like |

crossfm: Good point dude Looking all around Africa, taking stuff that does not belong to oneself is never considered a crime, provided one has the power or the smarts to do so. This is why cyber-fraudsters and kleptomaniac politicians are our biggest folk heroes. The saddest part though, is the way our people live in perpetual denial of the facts of their own reality |

This is a classic example of how some Nigerians in the USA generate their wealth. When you see them spend dollars recklessly, be rest assured they didn't earn it. |

naptu2:It's been a very long time since these guys are into car theft, see this 2004 story https://amp.theguardian.com/uk/2004/jul/29/buyingmusic.gadgets they went to jail and later into Yahoo Yahoo business. How ever the world love rich people, because if you are poor no visa, or even wife. China was the headquarters of sea piracy in the past, it was like a legal business then. China was also the headquarters of drugs, the West and the middle east was the headquarters of slave trade. Now it's the time of Africa to do its own. |

9jaRealist: Why are you trying so hard to convince everybody that this crime was not perpetrated by Nigerians? We all know the tribe In Nigeria that specializes In stealing vehicles abroad and selling them at their car lots all over Nigeria - claiming importer & exporter. Your foolish & cursed tribe denigrate & soil Nigeria’s name at any given opportunity by calling her a Zoo or calling the President a stolen mandate - even when your daft candidate came a distant 3rd, but here you are trying so hard to defend Nigeria’s reputation & integrity just to divert attention away from your tribe’s trade & Craft - which is well known to everybody in the Country. I have said before and I am saying it again, the day the Igbo ethnicity is annihilated & obliterated from Nigeria - is the day 95% of Nigeria’s woes & problems come to an end. You perpetrate evil & crimes all over the Country and you blame other ethnicity or race for it. 2 Likes |
