NLC'S Proposed Strike Would Do Nigerians More Harm Than Good by constancefriday(m): 9:28am On Jul 30, 2023
Apostle Constance C. Friday advises NLC to refrain from causing the masses more pain with their proposed strike action.
The Folks who would suffer the most from NLC's proposed strike are the masses.
I suggest or advice NLC and co to stage peaceful protests rather than shut everything down and hurt the masses more.
The Doctors are already on strike, gas prices are sky high, there's no need to add more pain to that if NLC's intentions are genuine.
I appeal to the presidency and legislation to do all the needful to abate the groaning and sufferings of the masses.
Thanks.
Yours Sincerely;
Apostle Constance C Friday Ani

Their planned strike is conspicuously Obi motivated and it will not hold.

What could be more harmed than the hardship we are going through now.

NLC and TUC should not back down on the strike.

So what do you propose let them just say an accept what FB offers?

Going by history strike has achieved more for labour than negotiations

NLC IS JOBLESS AND SERIOUSLY HOPELESS IN NEW IDEAS ON PRODUCTIVITY PROFITABILITY AND PROGRESS. THEY ARE JUST HARASSING A NEW GOVERNMENT AND ARE JOKING. USELESS UNION FROM THE PIT.

Don't you understand this will send a message to the president that people aren't happy. Why are you selfish. People are suffering and the government isn't doing anything to help the masses

Don’t beg them let them protest or strike and die.

Anyone that refused to go to work will loose his job. There are many jobless qualified people out there. We will give them your job since you’ve got no brain

you speak like a fool. Don't you have elders to teach you how to talk?
If the strike go on, this will be the most successful strike ever because everybody including the police and the military are feeling the heat.

Oga, this has nothing to do with God. It's man's affair. It's all about the principles of demand and supply. When NLC calls the strike. All dispensing stations will join making the product to be artificially scarce. It's not everyone that will join the strike. Some persons will have the need to go out, those commercial vehicles that are on hire purchase will still settle their owners. So they have to work. Also, the informal sector does not go on strike. Since there's no PMS to support all these movements, what will happen to its price?

@Enice I don't think that statement is correct. It's the mindset that God has nothing to do with our affairs that has brought us to this mess that our political gladiators are trying to clean up.

The strike will do more harm like the Ojota protest of 2012 organized by Tinubu, Fashola, Wole Soyinka etc
