West Ham United Bid for Harry Maguire Rejected by Man United. Manchester United have rejected a £20 million ($25.7m) bid from West Ham for Harry Maguire.

West Ham United Bid for Maguire
Maguire an established defender for Manchester United, Maguire is falling down the list at Old Trafford. The 30-year-old’s club is therefore willing to consider proposals, but there’s a catch: they won’t sell him until a high offer is made.

Hence, Maguire’s price tag, which is estimated to be around £40m, establishes the bar for any prospective suitors. Should no club meet this evaluation, Manager Erik ten Hag is content to retain the services of the former Leicester man for the upcoming season.

Ten Hag has expressed a preference for Lisandro Martínez and Raphaël Varane as his primary center-back choices, leaving Maguire facing limited playing time.

In light of this development, sources close to liveandsport.com indicate that West Ham is considering its next move in pursuit of Maguire. However, the club seems hesitant to submit a bid exceeding their initial offer.

Yet, even if West Ham manages to strike a deal with United, another obstacle arises in the form of Maguire’s wage demands.
