Please my fellow Nigerians, don't listen to people who are paid to push agendas and propaganda for foreign interests even to our own detriment.

No matter how bad a democracy is, it is still far better than a dictatorship.
No matter how Buhari or Tinubu bleeps up, we still enjoy the freedoms enshrined in democracy. The freedom of information, freedom of press, freedom of movement. You can move in and out of the country as you please without any government illegally holding you.

You can visit any website you want and criticize your government and its officials as much as you want. These might seem as a common and easy thing but know that these are not privileges afforded to citizens under a dictatorship.

A dictatorship is ruled by decrees and junta. One where only one man has the final say and does as he says.

Please don't let Russian implanted agents present across the internet to let you see anything good in a military dictatorship. Worse, one that is a puppet of Russia.

Please don't be fooled my fellow Nigerians. Don't fall for Russian propaganda. You may hate the west all you want but Russia is definitely not the answer to our African problems. Military dictatorship is definitely not the answer. We have had Babangida, Abacha, Buhari, Gowon etc and these dictators were all worse than the problem they had claimed to want to solve
stop deceiving your self military regimes in did better than the democratic rule, all our refineries were built by the military , democracy couldn't even maintain them, check our federal high ways they were built by the military.

And again the dictatorship in Saudi Arabia is better than our democracy in Nigeria ,Iran is better than Nigeria ,north Korea is better than Nigeria ,Libya was better under a dictator than it's today's democracy.

As a matter of fact democracy is foreign to our nature in Africa,it was imposed on us and even when we're not matured for it. Every country can have their own style of government that best suit them provided human rights are not abused

โšกIn a joint press release, Burkina Faso and ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Mali express their solidarity with Niger and warn that any military intervention against the country will be tantamount to a declaration of war between Burkina Faso and Mali.

Almost immediately after the joint statement, Guinea joins in warning the outside forces and threatening to enter the war on the side of the ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ช Niger Military Council.

Recall that the total population in Niger (26 million), Mali (22.5 million) and Burkina Faso (22.5 million) exceeds 70 million people. With ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ณ Guinea 85 million.

You people are extremely pathetic. Was this not the same Mali that you posted the other day and said has abolished French as its official language? Is the language in that document Chinese or English??

that is joint statement so you can't use that to judge their stand on that ban on french language.

When two or more countries are giving out a joint statement they use only one letter thius using one language

So, both of those countries do not have any other language by which they can address the international community?? And Why couldn't Mali object to the statement being written in French since it has cut ties with France?

Nigeria should kindly stay out of this. We consider Niger as a friend that has helped us greatly in the fight against Boko Haram. Whatever happens internally as long as human rights are not trampled upon is no one's business.

If ECOWAS should intervane then they will definitely require western help, Some other African nations that promise to help Niger if invaded will definitely step in and will receive assistance of Wagner.
And just like that Ukraine 2.0 will start happening in Africa, we just hope our president can resist western pressure to take action against Niger

Nigeria is heading towards disintegrations...all pro independent fighters should get ready. Immediately Nigerian soldiers enters Niger Republic..they should immediately declare that independent and get ready for war. Nigeria cannot fight war on two fronts and win. Biafrans get ready. And forget about this sit at home nonsense.

What is this one saying? Are you drunk or something? What has coup d'etat in Niger have to do with Nigeria disintegrating? Look around you is anyone ready for war in Nigeria??

Seems some of you lots are too myopic to see how big and respected Nigeria is due to our size and strength. Same reason Russia is fighting American hegemon in Ukraine not to infintrate too close and disintegrate her because a bigger Russia is very powerful and in every citizen's interest.

I'm truly indifferent whether we stay whole or in parts in the near future through diplomatic means but Make no mistake: this is 2023 and no longer 1960s where anyone can do too much. Any region or any fรธol that dares try to stir up the polity through conflict shall be subdued by all necessary means.

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท France is not preparing a military intervention in Niger and is counting on the establishment of constitutional order in the country. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna

"We categorically deny this," she said in response to a request to comment on statements by rebels in Niger that France was preparing a military intervention. "Our only priority is to ensure the safety of our fellow citizens."

Catherine Colonna believes that the release and reinstatement of the President of ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ช Niger, Mohamed Bazum, is possible before the expiration of the ultimatum of the Economic Community West African countries and before the possible introduction of African forces into the country.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ China has firmly conveyed its opposition to the US and made solemn representations on the matter.

But we can already see that rights are indeed already trampled upon.
The public is being gagged and the flow of information being tightened.

Let me ask you a simple question;

Do you personally wish to see Nigeria slide into a military dictatorship?

If tomorrow we heard that some military men have overtaken Aso rock and the leader of the coupist becomes the head of government, blocks access to Facebook, Twitter and nairaland, how would you feel?

I need a genuine answer from you. I desperately really want to know if they are some paid Russian agents here.

WOULD YOU WANT A MILITARY DICTATORSHIP FOR NIGERIA?

The Taliban Foreign Ministry announced the end of two-day talks between US Representatives Tom West and Reina Amiri and Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motagi in Doha.

According to the Taliban, they discussed the lifting of sanctions, human rights and the unfreezing of Afghanistan's foreign exchange reserves.

The statement notes that the 15-member US delegation discussed with the interim government the removal of Taliban leaders from the UN Security Council blacklist, the fight against drugs and the maintenance of economic stability.

American representatives have not yet commented on the details of these negotiations.

Earlier, the US State Department said that US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West and his colleagues are in talks with Interim Government Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motagi on security, drugs and women's rights.

at last den don recognize the reality and since past 5yrs democracy is dieing massively
