It’s no news that Nairaland of today isn’t the same as last month not to talk of years before.

Reddit bores me. It’s a huge base of knowledge, however the topics are American-centric. There are a lot of users and one’s opinion gets drowned in a sea of members.

StackOverflow looks promising. I’ll open an account after composing this.

4chan is not for me. Too many racists. The user interface is jumbled. I can never make sense of topics discussed.

Quora? It doesn’t appear exciting. It’s like going on a date with an intelligent fellow who has no hobbies.

Twitter makes no sense to me. I don’t know how it works nor do I want to learn. I’m considering Threads because Facebook will simplify the Twitter functionality to appeal to a mass audience.

A friend introduced me to YCombinator. Bleh.

I may just stick to regular blogs and build a community in them.

I need ideas.

All those platforms are meant for people of varied nature. Atimes, One could use more than one or face one.

stackOverFlow & Quora is mostly a Question&Answer platform. Quality of people on Quora is superB. stackOverFlow go frustrate you should you fail to ask questions following their doctrine, or ask a question that already exists.

infact most of the platforms you listed, except facebook & Twitter, are more science related hence people in such fields wouldn't have issues with them.
Same way a Linux user wouldn't easily wait to be spoonfed with solutions.

Me sef wey dey yarn, I belong to no social media other than teleGram which is mostly for discussing with clients. Okay maybe you could say I belong to nairaland which is to me, a blog with the face of a forum

bros, there are ways to make suggestions. no be to just suggest anything for sake of suggesting.

with the way OP has spoken, that's enough to make you understand his/her quality.

why suggest a clone of a website owned by someone who possibly does copyAndPaste from nairaland and e no go even dey up to date sef because e fit be when MTN give am free data e go get internet to copy&Paste.

when you suggest something to someone, it means You know the persons taste, have used the product or service you're suggesting/recommending, and see it as a good fit for the person to whom you're suggesting to.
