It's a common scene where so-called patriots in Nigeria gaslight those who call out the evil corrupt practices going on in Nigeria. They play the guilt-tripping card by saying one is trying to make the country look bad. Who gains in the end? Just the evil ones.

For a long time, NFF has been short-changing player earnings at tournaments. This time, Secretary General of FIFA, Fatma Samoura, while addressing the players in the dressing room after the game against Ireland, has confirmed to the Falcons that due to the corruption in the NFF which is actually painful for them to hear about, FIFA has decided to pay player's renumeration during the tournament directly to the players. This was followed by a loud applause from the players.

Recall that @PIDOMNIGERIA already let the cat out of the bag about the document shrouded in secrecy where the Federal Government approved a huge sum for the Super Falcons. It is yet to be seen if and when the Falcons will have access to that sum.
