I am impressed with the way Jagaban Ministerial list is. It features faces whom we are not familiar with and they are mostly young and accomplished technocrats. Indeed our hope is renewed.

Are you aware that the president reserves the right to hire and fire members of his cabinet at any time?

Even on the last day of his administration, he can HIRE and FIRE!

Abegi, which ones are the purported “technocrats”?!

Having a degree is not synonymous with being a technocrat…
And, apart from a handful of practicing professionals, the rest are just politicians and sundry rent-seekers.

Meanwhile, women in Nigeria actually constitute about 50% of the population…
Accordingly, 19% is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Our cabinets should reflect “national character” (not just federal).

PS: The UN (and most standard) age definition of “youth” is from 15-24 years…
In Nigeria, we keep incorrectly classifying middle-aged folks (even in their 40s/50s) as “youth”.
